You've Seen Rich Barry's Work, But You Didn't Know Him | Splat Attack Podcast
It took a team of people to give us some of the wonderful programming that made Nickelodeon special back in the day. A lot of the time we SEE the faces on television or the creators of various shows. But its takes far more people to create what we fell in love with. Joining the team for "A Conversation With" is Rich Barry. Rich has been part of Nickelodeon for years! You've seen his work but you never saw his face. He worked internationally, made promos, spearheaded Slime Time Live and so much more! Join the crew by the Slime Cooler as they have a conversation with Rich Barry, the CSO (Chief Slime Officer) of Nickelodeon!
**Small correction: Nickelodeon UK was the first international Nickelodeon channel, launching in 1993. Nickelodeon Australia followed a couple of years later in 1995.
Aaron Carter, a rapper, singer, and actor who appeared on many Nickelodeon shows during the late-90s and early-2000s, has sadly passed away aged 34. In memory of the late performer, below is his hit song, "Leave It Up To Me", from the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius movie soundtrack.
Among the Nickelodeon shows Aaron made an appearance on were Figure It Out, Rocket Power, All That, Slime Time Live, Kids' Choice Awards, U-Pick Live, and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. In 2000, he contributed the song "Life Is a Party" to the Rugrats in Paris movie soundtrack, and in 2001, performed three tracks, "Leave It Up to Me", "Go Jimmy Jimmy" and "AC's Alien Nation", for the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius film soundtrack. "Go Jimmy Jimmy" was also heard in the movie's spin-off TV series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius. In 2001, Aaron took part in the TEENick Presents Aaron's House Party Tour.
