Canada: YTV To Premiere 'I Am Frankie' On Monday 6th November 2017

A cutting edge, experimental android navigates the perils and wonders of being a teenager in I Am Frankie, Nickelodeon’s newest serialized live-action show, premiering Monday 6th November 2017 on YTV (Canada)! I Am Frankie tells the story of Frankie Gaines (Alex Hook), who looks like any other human girl, but harbors a big secret--she functions as a high-tech computer, complete with internet access, extensive memory and more. In fact, you could say she's Wired Differently than other teenagers!

After escaping from tech company EGG Labs to avoid being used for evil purposes, Frankie enrolls in high school in an attempt to pass as a typical teenager. Despite having an inside full of wires and circuits, Frankie begins to adapt well by bonding with her new best friend Dayton (Nicole Alyse Nelson), juggling loads of homework and dealing with boy crushes, all while keeping her true identity a secret.

Suspicion soon arises about Frankie, as popular girls Tammy (Mohana Krishnan), Lucia (Uriel Baldesco) and Makayla (Kristi Beckett) question her quick victory during a math competition. To complicate things even further, Frankie’s wiring goes haywire as she starts experiencing human emotion, creating more challenges and adventurous fun. How long can she keep her true identity a secret while maintaining herself as a normal teenager?

Canada: YTV To Premiere "Welcome To The Wayne" On Sunday 3rd September 2017

A New York City apartment building holds mysteries and adventures behind every door in Nickelodeon's newest animated series, Welcome to the Wayne, premiering Sunday 3rd September 2017 at 7:00am (ET/PT) on YTV (Canada). Created and written by Emmy® Award-winning writer and composer Billy Lopez (The Wonder Pets) and executive produced by Emmy Award-winning creative executive Michael Pecoriello (Yu-Gi-Oh!), the 20-episode series follows three kids as they explore their strange and fantastical apartment building, the Wayne, where nothing is what it seems.



Welcome to the Wayne follows the comedic adventures of three friends, Ansi Molina, Olly Timbers, and Saraline Timbers, as they aim to unlock the secrets of the Wayne. Each new investigation brings them face-to-face with new characters, creatures, and oddities, known as “Wayne Phenomena,” leading them closer to uncovering the truth about the weird things happening in their building.

In the series premiere, “Rise and Shine Sleepyhead,” Ansi, a new resident of the Wayne, must work with siblings Olly and Saraline to stop a rampaging threat deep within their home.

Billy Lopez is an Emmy-winning writer and composer from New York City. He has written for shows including Phineas and Ferb and South Park and been head writer on several preschool shows, including The Wonder Pets!, 3rd & Bird! and PBS’s Peg + Cat. Lopez also co-created an adult sitcom for ABC Studios. Michael Pecoriello is an Emmy Award-winning creative leader. Canada: YTV To Premiere "Mysticons" On Monday 28th August 2017

A mythic quest to save the world unfolds in the brand-new animated series, Mysticons, premiering Monday, August 28 on YTV in Canada! Produced by Corus Entertainment’s premier animation company Nelvana, the half-hour action series rich in story and mythology follows four girls who transform into legendary warriors, Mysticons, who band together to save their realm from evil.

Created and executive produced by Sean Jara (Johnny Test), Mysticons is a contemporary urban fantasy series about four girls from different walks of life who are transformed into the legendary Mysticons. Arkayna, Zarya, Emerald, and Piper are drawn together by a prophecy to battle evil and protect the realm as unexpected heroes who work together to become epic warriors and ultimately, the closest of friends. The heroes team up as the stakes are raised when the evil Queen Necrafa is released from her prison and embarks on a mission to destroy them and their home, Drake City.

Mysticons will also premiere on Nickelodeon USA on Monday, August 28, at 4 p.m. (ET/PT).

In the series premiere, “Sisters in Arms,” the legendary Dragon Disk brings together the four girls and bestows upon them magical powers.

Nickelodeon Latinoamérica to Premiere "Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa" During Early 2017

Nickelodeon Latinoamérica will debut Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa, a brand-new live-action teen series from Mondo TV, from early 2017!

Inspired by the 1880 novel Heidi by Johanna Spyri, Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa stars Chiara Francia (Patito Feo, Chica Vampiro) and tells the story of a young girl full of charm who leaves her mountain home for the city.

The series invites viewers to experience the fantasy world of Heidi in a modern day setting. The series is full of humor and songs and takes place in a colorful aesthetic and cinematic setting that creates a magical universe.

The 60×45-minute show, produced entirely in Argentina, is created by Argentinian author Marcela Citterio. The series is a co-production between Mondo TV subsidiary Mondo TV Iberoamerica and Javier Francia of Alianzas Producciones.

Matteo Corradi, Mondo TV's CEO, commented: "Heidi is one of the most successful books ever written, with timeless values and one of the most endearing protagonists in literature. The special and very talented team behind this new production has brought the story up to date while retaining its universal appeal. Life at a new school is never easy - particularly when you are afraid to ride - but Kit will be able to handle any challenge she faces thanks to her new friend, TK....who just so happens to be the most stubborn and difficult horse at the Academy!

In the Ride episode "Hippophobia & Ophidiophobia", above, after Lady Covington doubles down on her threat to send TK away, Kit realizes she is running out of time to conquer her fear of riding. Following the shows launch on YTV, Nickelodeon USA is expected to debut Ride as part of the networks 2016/2017 programming season.

Commissioned by Nickelodeon and YTV and produced by Canada's Breakthrough Entertainment and the UK's Buccaneer Media, the 20x30-minute show, formally titled Let It Ride, is created by Jill Girling (Life with Derek) and Lori Mather-Welch (Would Be Kings, Queer As Folk). Executive producers for Breakthrough are Joan Lambur, Ira Levy, Peter Williamson, Michael McGuigan, Nat Abraham and Shelley Scarrow. Tony Wood (House of Anubis) is executive producing for Buccaneer. The series was cast by KM Casting. The series was filmed in Toronto and on location in Northern Ireland.
