Netflix to Add 'House of Anubis' Season 1 on March 31

SIBUNA! Netflix will add the first season of Nickelodeon's hit international mystery-drama series House of Anubis on March 31! The news was first reported by our friends over at What's on Netflix.

Based on Nickelodeon's hit Belgian-Dutch series Het Huis Anubis, House of Anubis follows a group of students who uncover and solve hidden mysteries at an English boarding school, while dealing with the highs and lows of their teenage years. Season one follows the SIBUNA gang on their search to find their missing classmate Joy. The freshman season of House of Anubis stars Nathalia Ramos as new girl Nina Martin, Brad Kavanagh as Fabian Rutter, Jade Ramsey as Patricia Williamson, Ana Mulvoy Ten as Amber Millington, Bobby Lockwood as Mick Campbell, Tasie Lawrence as Mara Jaffray, Eugene Simon as Jerome Clarke, Alex Sawyer as Alfie Lewis, and Klariza Clayton as Joy Mercer, with Francis Magee as Victor Rodenmaar Jr., Mina Anwar as Anubis House-mother Trudy Rehman, Julia Deakin as Mrs. Daphne Andrews, Paul Antony-Barber as Mr. Eric Sweet, Roger Barclay as Rufus Zeno, Rita Davies as Sarah Frobisher-Smythe, and the legendary Corbierre as himself.

An international version by Nickelodeon USA and Studio 100, the series was filmed in Liverpool in the UK and ran for 190 and one 90-minute TV special "The Touchstone of Ra" over three seasons between 1st January 2011 to 17th June 2013. The international remake aired on many Nickelodeon channels and programming blocks globally, and followed the same plot, with rewritten versions of the original scripts. A German remake titled Das Haus Anubis was also produced.

At the moment, only House of Anubis season one is scheduled to arrive on Netflix, with the full series available to stream on Paramount+, the streaming home of Nickelodeon.

Before chatting with us, Burkely had actually just finished wrapping a scene of HOA in London! So, when we asked him about what the new set is like, he had all the insider info fresh in his mind. "This year there's three new sets," he gushed. Excited? Well, be careful, because some of these new scenes might get a little bit scary! Burkely revealed that there's "definitely some ominous new sets."

But for all those classic Anubis fans out there, don't worry. You'll still see plenty of stuff that you'll recognize. "This year, you're gonna see a lot of the same sets, you know a lot of the school and the house and stuff like that," Burkely explained. Nickelodeon has announced in the following Nickelodeon Press Release the Nickelodeon News / "House of Anubis" News that Nickelodeon USA will start to premiere and show season three of Nickelodeon's hit suspense-filled mystery drama series "House Of Anubis" from January 2013, starting with a special hour-long episode premiering on Thursday 3rd January 2013 at 8.00pm (ET/PT)! Nickelodeon is then expected to premiere the third season of HoA on Nickelodeon channels and networks around the world (Nickelodeon International / Planet Nickelodeon), including Nickelodeon UK, from Spring 2013!

Nickelodeon's HOUSE OF ANUBIS Set to Return on 1/3.

Nickelodeon's suspense-filled series, House of Anubis, returns for season three with an hour-long episode premiering Thursday, Jan. 3, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). House of Anubis follows a group of students who uncover and solve hidden mysteries at an English boarding school while dealing with the highs and lows of their teenage years. In season three, the Sibuna gang returns to Anubis House with new leader Eddie (Burkely Duffield) as the Osirian. It's up to the Sibunas to untangle the mysteries and stop the adults from unleashing an evil so great it will destroy the world and everyone in it. The new season will feature returning favorite characters and also introduce new faces including KT (Alexandra Shipp), a sunny and tenacious American girl who becomes a vital part of the Sibuna gang, and Willow (Louisa Connelly-Burnham), a bright and quirky student from another boarding house.

In the season premiere, Eddie recognizes new girl KT from a vision he had. She's been sent here on a secret mission by her grandfather with only a key to help her. Eddie manages to get his hands on the key and has a frightening vision when he touches it. A new teacher, Miss Denby, also arrives and is protecting something very special to her....but what is it? Fabian finds Nina's locket amongst Eddie's things and Eddie's forced to come clean about why Nina's not coming back to Anubis House.

If you’ve been missing Nickelodeon’s otherworldly live-action telenovela-style series House of Anubis since it's season 2 finale in March, never fear. The series, which follows a group of students solving mysteries at an English boarding school, while dealing with normal teenage tumult, is set to return in January. And season 3 raises the stakes for the kids and introduces new characters, love interests, and villains. The teens go up against the teachers as they race to defeat an ancient curse and prevent a great evil from reawakening forever. Enter K.T Rush (Alexandra Shipp), an adventurous, perky, and tenacious American girl, who becomes a vital part of the Sibuna gang and partners with Eddie (Burkely Duffield) to unlock the new Anubis House mystery. Louisa Connelly-Burnham also joins the show as Willow, a bright and quirky student from another boarding house who yearns to join Anubis House.
