Paramount+ in Canada to Stream SKYMED Seasons 1-3 Later This Year

TORONTO, June 11, 2025 -- Paramount+ announced today a greenlight for Season 4 of Canadian series SKYMED with Paramount+ in Canada on board for first time in the series history. The hit medical drama follows the triumphs and tribulations of young medics and pilots who fly air ambulances across the remote skies of Northern Canada, weaving together intense journeys with jaw-dropping medical rescues 20,000 feet in the air in the most remote conditions. Produced by Piazza Entertainment, the eight-episode season begins production later this summer in North Bay, Ontario and Manitoba, and will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in Canada, the U.S., Latin America and Brazil, UK, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Additionally, Paramount+ in Canada will welcome SKYMED Seasons 1 – 3 to the platform this fall introducing the full series to new audiences prior to the fourth season's exclusive premiere on the service in 2026.

Returning to SKYMED are series regulars Natasha Calis (Nurses) as Hayley, Morgan Holmstrom (Outlander) as Crystal, Mercedes Morris (Ghosts) as Lexi, Sydney Kuhne (Ginny & Georgia) as Stef, and Aaron Ashmore (Ginny & Georgia) as Wheezer. Additional casting announcements will be made in the future.

SKYMED Season 4 will be produced by Piazza Entertainment in association with Paramount+ in Canada and CBS Studios. The series was created by Julie Puckrin and inspired by her sister and brother-in-law, who met flying air ambulances. Puckrin also serves as executive producer, along with Gillian Hormel and Vanessa Piazza. From Manitoba, Rhonda Baker, and Carrie Wilkins serve as producers. SKYMED is distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The first three seasons of SKYMED were produced by Piazza Entertainment  in association with the CBC and CBS Studios.  Seasons 1-3 are currently available to stream on CBC Gem and will be available on Paramount+ in Canada this fall.

Today, Apple TV+ announced that the reimagined original kids and family series “Yo Gabba GabbaLand!” will return for season two on Friday, January 30, 2026. Inspired by the standout cultural phenomenon “Yo Gabba Gabba!,” the magical, all-new 10-episode second season welcomes back host Kammy Kam and beloved Gabba characters Brobee, Foofa, Muno, Toodee and Plex. Yo Gabba GabbaLand!, which premiered in August 2024, was inspired by the original four-season run, with new host Kammy Kam (played by Kamryn Smith) standing in for O.G. ringleader DJ Lance Rock (Lance Robertson). TMNT’s Michelangelo Set to Be Playable Character in 'Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4'

It’s cowabunga time!!

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is going to need a lot of pizza, because Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Michelangelo, is headed to the skate park. A new trailer, presented by Tony Hawk himself, was recently shown at the Xbox Games Showcase, providing another peak at the revamped tricks, characters, and locales.

In the trailer, the party dude, clad in his trademark orange can be seen underneath a skate park in the Los Angeles sewers, examining a piece of pizza and then whipping out his own skateboard and spinning on his shell before yelling "COWABUNGA!". Michelangelo's character design is based in his appearance in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem universe.

The trailer also showed off a look at the return of Bam Margera, guest character the Doom Slayer, and more skaters ripping up the halfpipe. Other skaters to be featured in the game include Nyjah Huston, Riley Hawk, Lizzie Armanto, Leticia Bufoni, Tyshawn Jones, and more. Pro Skater 3 and 4 will have online multiplayer, allowing players to play with seven additional friends in a virtual skatepark. Fans can also expect fan-favorite levels like Rio, Tokyo, the Foundry, Airport, and Canada to return to the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 is set to be released on the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Windows on July 11, 2025.
