The installation marks the debut of Simworx’s Pegasus Flying Theatre system within a Nickelodeon-themed environment, bringing a high-energy flying theatre experience to one of Istanbul’s newest family entertainment destinations.

At the heart of the experience is a 40-seat Pegasus motion base theatre, designed to deliver a fully immersive flying sensation. Guests board the attraction from two separate loading levels, enabling efficient throughput while maintaining accessibility for riders of all ages. Once seated, riders are positioned in front of a large projection screen, where synchronised motion, visuals, and environmental effects combine to create the sensation of soaring through the air.

One such version is the Mobile Pegasus, a fully transportable flying theatre designed for touring attractions, temporary installations, and travelling entertainment experiences. This configuration allows operators to bring the immersive flying theatre concept to multiple locations worldwide, expanding audience reach without requiring a permanent build.

For venues with more limited space, Simworx also offers Pegasus Pods. These compact units provide a highly immersive ride format where guests are seated within their own half-dome projection environment, placing them directly at the centre of the action. Despite the smaller footprint, Pegasus Pods maintain the core elements of the flying theatre experience, including synchronised motion and wraparound visuals.

Nickelodeon has opened Nickelodeon Play! Tersane Istanbul, a brand new indoor family entertainment park themed around the brand and located along Istanbul’s historic Golden Horn.

The new venue opened on Friday, November 28, 2025, following the success of Nickelodeon Play! in Antalya. It is situated within Tersane Istanbul, a large-scale redevelopment project that blends the city’s centuries-old maritime heritage with contemporary urban life.

Paramount Global Inks Multiyear Deal with beIN For MENA Region

Paramount Global Content Distribution has signed a multiyear volume deal with Qatar-based powerhouse beIN Media Group that covers exclusive rights to content for pay TV, SVOD and catch-up SVOD subtitled in Arabic for the MENA region.

The deal also includes a Paramount+ branded destination for beIN’s OTT platform TOD, which will boost the content offering on the premium streaming platform that is available across the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.

BeIN is a co-owner of U.S. indie studio Miramax. Its TOD streaming platform currently commands a 4% share of the MENA streaming market, thanks to its mix of premium sports and scripted content.

The content covered in the deal is available now to beIN subscribers and includes a slew of titles from Paramount+, SHOWTIME, CBS Studios, Republic Pictures and Paramount Pictures, such as 1883, 1923, Billions, Colin from Accounts, Frasier, Knuckles, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, Mayor of Kingstown, PAW Patrol, Ray Donovan, Tulsa King and Yellowstone, as well as the upcoming series NCIS: Tony & Ziva and films Bob Marley: One Love, Rob Peace, Self Reliance and the Transformers and Mission: Impossible franchises.

“This agreement underscores beIN’s commitment to delivering the best in entertainment to our audiences in the MENA region,” said Esra Özaral Altop, chief entertainment content officer at beIN Media Group. “By expanding our relationship with Paramount and securing these exclusive media rights, we are excited to provide our subscribers with an incredible lineup of movies and series that millions of viewers across the region simply cannot find elsewhere.”

Financial terms of the new deal spanning an unspecified number of years between Paramount Global and beIN Media Group – which was announced during the Mipcom TV market in Cannes – were not disclosed. The deal spans MENA region territories and does not include Turkish rights.

Paramount Global has another licensing deal in place for Nickelodeon content with Saudi-owned MBC Group, whose Shahid streamer leads the MENA streaming market with a 22% share, according to global analyst Omdia.

The deal comes ahead of Paramount’s expected merger with Skydance.

Though beIN recently started producing high-end Arab originals, the bulk of its scripted programming is either from Hollywood or Turkey.

On 15^th January, 2025, The Land of Legends will open its doors to its newest attractions: Türkiye’s first Nickelodeon Land, and first and only Nickelodeon Hotels and Resorts in the country. With three brand-new, fun-filled areas, a new hotel and the chance to meet Nickelodeon characters, the new attractions will immerse guests in a Nickelodeon adventure.

The new Nickelodeon Land will open at The Land of Legends, Antalya, which is a one-stop shop full of adventure, offering guests of all ages the chance to experience dizzying heights, thrilling rides, and top-class entertainment all in one place, whatever their age.

The first Nickelodeon development in Türkiye marks a significant step forward for the Turkish tourism industry and The Land of Legends. The brand’s global significance means the new opening – earmarked for January 2025 – is a key project and investment for Türkiye. The collaboration between The Land of Legends and Paramount Global’s Nickelodeon, one of the world’s biggest entertainment brands, reflects the growth of the Turkish hospitality and entertainment industry.

Opening 15^th January 2025, Nickelodeon Land consists of three unique areas – the underwater Bikini Bottom from SpongeBob SquarePants, intergalactic Star Trek: Wild Galaxy, based on Star Trek: Prodigy, and the open-air Adventure Bay PAW Patrol. Across the new development, guests will experience thrilling experiences, from riding the giant Jellyfish Jam swing in Bikini Bottom, to experiencing an adventure through space in the Star Trek: Wild Galaxy 5D cinema and flying high in Skye’s Flyers helicopter-style ride.

At Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Antalya, each guest will live out their own legend and have the chance to expand and exercise their imagination with a range of interactive experiences with Nickelodeon friends, including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dora. As soon as guests check in to the new Nickelodeon Hotel & Resort, they’ll be treated to a feast for all the senses. Bright colour schemes, innovative designs and kid-friendly facilities will ensure each member of the family feels at home.

The hotel rooms have been specially designed in one of five concept themes – DORA, PAW Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Trek – continuing the fun-filled family adventures.

Younger guests will be amazed with an array of experiences, from Character Dining to Club Nick, where kids can play, learn and develop with their new friends. The outdoor pool area features an Aqua Tower, Spray Area and in true Nickelodeon style, a chance to be Slimed. Away from the fun and frolics, parents can find the time to switch off at Anjana  Spa, which will offer holistic therapies, massages and traditional Turkish Hammam or let off steam in the hotel’s fully-equipped gym with yoga and Pilates studios.
