Nick News Brief: The Czech satellite television platform Lepší.TV (Better TV) has added Nicktoons, Nickelodeon's top-rated animation channel, to its channel line-up! Nicktoons Czech Republic (Česká republika), a sub-feed from Nickelodeon's pan-regional Nicktoons Global, broadcasts in Standard Definition (SD) with a Czech soundtrack on the service. The channel joins Nickelodeon and Nick Jr., which previously launched on the TV operator.

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) is strengthening its portfolio in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region with the launch of a localised Nicktoons channel in the Czech Republic! Launching on Wednesday 30th October 2019, Nicktoons Czech Republic (Česká republika) will broadcast 24/7 and is a sub-feed Nicktoons Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), which launched in April 2019, with a localised Czech language track. The channel brings viewers the most popular animated series and exclusive new animated shows produced by Nickelodeon, one of the most popular children's channels in the Czech Republic.
Update (1/2/2020) - NickToons CZ today, Saturday 1st February 2020, started to air localised Czech ads instead of fillers (short-form content)!
Update (4/2/2020) -Unlike Nicktoons MENA and Nicktoons Ukraine/Kazakhstan, which have Czech broadcast licence, Nicktoons CEE's Czech sub-feed has a Dutch license.

Update (4/12) - VIMN launched Nicktoons Česká republika on DIGI TV on Tuesday 3rd December 2019! The channel was added to DIGI TV's Basic Program Package line-up.
Update (18/12) - O2 TV will launch Nicktoons on the platform on Thursday 19th December 2019! Initially launching in O2 TV's L package and higher-tiered packages, will be eventally be included in the service's S, M, Modrá and Bronzová packages by Monday 6th January 2020. Nicktoons Česká republika replaces Megamax on the platform, which is seizing broadcasting in the CEE region in December.
It has been confirmed that Nicktoons Czech Republic will feature in several packages on UPC CZ, the biggest provider of television services in the Czech Republic.
Although the channel's official launch is set for Wednesday 30th October 2019, it's expected that Nicktoons Czech Republic will soft launch on Tuesday 29th October 2019.
Update (1/11) - Nicktoons Česká republika fully launched on Thursday 31st October 2019! The channel is currently available in 16:9, with older shows being broadcast in so-called "pillarbox" mode (ie with stripes on the sides). Nicktoons is currently only available on UPC Czech Republic (including the Horizon Go internet service), but is expected to launch on additional platforms in the future. The channel is currently broadcasting in 720x576p resolution and 2.5 Mbps. All shows, trailers and jingles are already broadcast in Czech, but ads are currently missing.

Update (20/9) - Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) this week launched a Czech audiotrack on Nicktoons CEE, however, it is currently airing programming with Romanian audio. This could indicate that Nicktoons Czech Republic could be launching soon!
Nicktoons България is available to new and current customers of A1's A1 ТВ стандарт (A1 TV Standard), A1 ТВ разширен (A1 TV Extension), A1 ТВ разширен+(A1 TV Extension+), A1 ТВ разширен Xtra (A1 TV Extension Xtra) and A1 ТВ премиум (A1 TV Premium), and is available to view on all it's television distribution platforms: IPTV, digital and satellite TV.
NickToons България will join VIMN's two other dedicated children's channels in Bulgaria: Nickelodeon България (a version of Nickelodeon Central and Eastern Europe with a Bulgarian soundtrack) for kids aged 4-12 years old, which airs hit live-action and animated series; and Nick Jr. България (a version of Nick Jr. CEE with a Bulgarian soundtrack), Nickelodeon's top-rated preschool channel for children aged 2-6 years. Nicktoons is aimed towards boys and girls aged 4-to-10 years. With this combination, Viacom offers the most engaging, fun and varied content for kids and adolescents - all day long, every day.
Nicktoons България will air a wide range of programming from Nickelodeon's vast library of hit animated series, including Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Възходът на костенурките нинджа), SpongeBob SquarePants (Спондж Боб Квадратни гащи), Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (Кунг Фу панда: Легенди за страхотния боец), Avatar: The Legend of Aang (Аватар: Легенда за Анг), Penguins of Madagascar (Пингвините от Мадагаскар) and more.

A1 Bulgaria said it added the Nicktoons channel to its A1 TV offer after reaching a deal with Viacom, the owner of Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. Viacom began broadcasting the new TV channel in Bulgaria that is specifically designed for children from 4 to 10 years old.
The channel can be accessed by customers subscribed to A1 TV standart, A1 TV razsiren (A1 TV extension), A1 TV razsiren+, A1 TV razsiren Xtra and A1 TV premium. Nicktoons will be automatically added to the current A1 packages and will be available to all new TV subscribers. A1 will offer the new TV channel via IPTV, digital and satellite TV.
