Crazy Block was selected as a finalist in the 2014 edition of Nickelodeon's world renowned Global Animated Shorts Program.

Nickelodeon Acquires Rights To "Mia And Me" Season 3 For Nordic And Benelux Regions

Various broadcasters snapping up MIA AND ME’s season 3


m4e strikes several international broadcast deals for season 3 of its flagship show MIA AND ME with partners for Nordic, Benelux, Estonia, Portugal, France and Thailand



The German brand management and media company m4e AG has signed various agreements on the latest installment of its successful TV series “Mia and me” (78 x 23 minutes). Nickelodeon has acquired the pay TV rights on the new season 3 for the Nordic territories, as well as free TV and pay TV rights for Benelux. The free TV rights were also picked up by Estonian Public Broadcasting ERR for its channel ETV2. “Mia and me” will be made available for cable and satellite television by Portugal’s Canal Panda with its owner Dreamia taking hold of the pay TV rights, which were also taken by Turner for France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Monaco, Switzerland and French-speaking Africa. For Thailand, TIGA Co. Ltd. has acquired the pay TV rights.

Further agreements were signed with Australia’s Channel 11 on the free TV rights of all three seasons of “Mia and me”, and Globosat has renewed its Pay TV rights on season 1 for Brazil.

Season 3 of “Mia and me” has recently premiered on the German kids channel KiKA with strong rating performance, underlining the continued success of the hybrid show which is produced by Hahn & m4e Productions and distributed worldwide by m4e.

In February 2017 the Studio 100 Group acquired the majority interest in m4e AG. Simba Toys picked up the toy license for Mia and Me in February, and playthings will be launching in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2018 before rolling out globally. Mia and me's fourth season, plus a feature film, are currently in development.

The 78 x 23-minute show was created by Gerhard Hahn and is a production of Hahn & m4e Productions, along with Rainbow and ZDF. The show was acquired by m4e last June, when the company took a 45% stake in the international rights (excluding Italy) to the property. Hahn Film purchased the remaining 5% of Rainbow’s original 50% stake. Studio 100 then purchased a majority stake in m4e in January.

Nick Jr. USA To Premiere Brand-New "Mia And Me" Episodes From Monday 11th April 2016

Zap2it TV Listings is reporting the magical news Nick Jr. USA, Nickelodeon USA's top-performing preschool channel, will start to premiere and show more brand-new episodes from the all-new second season of the popular live action/CG-animated fantasy television series Mia and Me from Monday 11th April 2016 at 6:30pm ET/PT!


Below is a list of currently announced brand-new episodes of Mia and Me and their premiere dates on Nick Jr. USA:

Monday 11th April 2016 - The Ghost of Blackwood Forest: When Rixel destroys the pepper supplies in the Elven Crater, Mia and others have to go into the mysterious black forest to replenish supplies; Raynor warns the Elves that a ghost protects the black forest. (S02, E05)

Wednesday 13th April 2016 - The Spell of the Green Fluid: With a device procured from Polytheus, Rixel manipulates the animals in the crater to make them show him the secret tunnel; Mia and her friends have to master the chaos caused by the hypnotized animals. (S02, E06)

Rainbow Takes Popular Properties To Southeast Asia With iflix

The European animated studio Rainbow has secured a deal with Southeast Asian internet TV service iflix to stream the popular animated series "Winx Club" and three other properties in the region!


iflix will offer its subscribers across Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand access to "Winx Club", "PopPixie" and "Huntik: Secrets & Seekers", beginning this month. The shows will also be available to subscribers in Indonesia starting Friday 1st January 2016. In addition, iflix customers in Malaysia will be able to watch "Mia and Me".

"We are delighted to have signed this deal with iflix," said Cristiana Buzzelli, the Vice President of contents, digital and publishing at Rainbow. "Video on-demand in Southeast Asia is growing very quickly, and iflix is the perfect partner to bring the magic of Rainbow to millions of children across the region and boost the licensing potential of all these fantastic properties."

Nickelodeon USA Acquires Rights To "Mia and Me"; To Premiere New Show In April 2014

The children's entertainment and media news website Kidscreen and the official website of World Screen, a publication which covers the international media business, are reporting the exciting Nickelodeon news that Nickelodeon USA has picked up the broadcast rights to the popular live action/CG-animated fantasy television series "Mia and Me" from the Italian animation studio Rainbow S.r.l. ("Winx Club", "Huntik: Secrets & Seekers") and its co-production partners Lucky Punch and M4e in Germany and will start to premiere and show "Mia and Me" from April 2014!


The first season of "Mia and Me" has been snapped up by more than 70 broadcasters in countries around the globe. "Mia and Me" recently premiered on Nickelodeon UK in January 2014 and also currently airs on Nickelodeon South East Asia (on Nickelodeon Philippines, Nickelodeon Singapore and Nickelodeon Malaysia), Nickelodeon Benelux (comprising of Nickelodeon Belgium (België), Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland), and Luxembourg), and on Nickelodeon Scandinavia (comprising of Nickelodeon Denmark (Danmark) and Nickelodeon Sweden (Sverige)).

""Mia and me" mixes high production values with funny, exciting and original scripts, which makes it very popular with audiences and attractive to broadcasters," said Luana Perrero, the head of sales for TV Rainbow Group. "We are delighted to be welcoming all these respected broadcasters to the fold and I'm sure Mia and me will prove as big a hit in France, Australia, the U.S. and Brazil as it has in so many territories across the world."

Additionally, "Mia and Me" will premiere on Brazil's Gloob on Monday 14th April 2014, Australia's Eleven in late May, and on Gulli in France soon. As well as Nick UK, Clan TVE in Spain also recently debuted the series.

"Mia and Me" is also now headed to Gulli in France. The show is also due to debut on Brazil's Gloob on April 14, Australia's Eleven in late May and Nickelodeon in the U.S. next month.

A second season of "Mia and Me" is slated to begin airing in late 2014/early 2015, and a feature film is expected to be released in theaters/cinemas in 2016.

Additionally, a full range of merchandise will launch this year in established territories, including a toy line from international toy partner Mattel. Other partners include Ravensburger, Egmont, Unilever, Nestle and Panini, who has just unveiled it's second sticker collection based on the popular kids' property, "Mia and Me", with The Unicorns of Centopia, reports Licensing.biz. Launched in March 2014, the collection features a 32 page glitter embossed sticker album and 192 stickers. Tying in with the first edition that launched in Spring 2013, the new series' content will focus on the Unicorns of Centopia who will feature on a series of special stickers, complemented with background scenes in the album. "The stories, all about the magical fantasy world of Centopia, are a slice of good fortune for Panini", said Stephanie Schlag, the marketing manager for entertainment stickers at Panini Publishing in Stuttgart. "The first collection far exceeded all our expectations, and we are therefore pleased to be able to offer our young collectors a second edition." To support the launch and reinforce the importance it places on the licensing subject, Panini is increasing its investment in samplings, school co-operations, competitions and trade displays.

action/CGI series combines fantasy, adventure and comedy, and chronicles the adventures of 12-year old Mia as she juggles her life in the real world with another role in the magical kingdom of Centopia. In addition to the January launch on Nickelodeon in the UK , Nick US will bow the series next month. Other new TV partners on board include Gulli (France), Gloob (Brazil), where the show is set to launch on April 14, and Eleven (Australia), where it will bow in late May.

It has aired in more than 80 territories around the globe, including on Nickelodeon South East Asia (on Nickelodeon Philippines, Nickelodeon Singapore and Nickelodeon Malaysia) and on Nickelodeon Benelux (comprising of Nickelodeon Belgium (België), Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland), and Luxembourg).

"U.K. audiences are in for a treat as Mia and me is a wonderful show that mixes very high production values with funny, exciting and original scripts," said Luana Perrero, the TV sales manager for Rainbow Group. The children's entertainment and media news website Kidscreen is reporting the exciting children's media news Italy-based Rainbow S.r.l., Europe's largest animation studio and the company behind the popular "Winx Club", "mia and Me", "Huntik: Secrets and Seekers" and "PopPixie" brands, has added a number of licensing agents to its global network.

The new additions to the Rainbow team include B-Rights ("Mia and me", "PopPixie" and "Huntik") in Greece, Planeta Junior ("Winx", "Mia and me", "PopPixie" and "Huntik") in Spain, PopCorn ("Mia and me") in Portugal, ELC in Eastern Europe and the Ukraine ("Winx", "PopPixie" and "Huntik"), Viz International in Malaysia and Singapore ("Winx", "Mia and me", "PopPixie" and "Huntik"), Bates Group in Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand ("Winx", "Mia and me", "PopPixie" and "Huntik") and Unite Licensing in Taiwan ("Winx", "Mia and me", "PopPixie" and "Huntik"). Nickelodeon South East Asia Debuts New CGI-Animated Series "Mia And Me"

Nickelodeon South East Asia has announced in a post on their official Facebook profile page, facebook.com/nickasia, the Nick News that Nickelodeon South East Asia have today (Monday 1st July 2013) started debuted the brand new live action/CGI animated television series "Mia and Me"!

According to Nick Asia's official websites' official "Mia and Me" website, Nickelodeon Asia will premiere and show all-new episodes of "Mia and Me" every weekday at 4:00pm on Nickelodeon Philippines and weekdays at 5.30pm on Nickelodeon Singapore & Nickelodeon Malaysia.
