Nickelodeon Junior (France) To Premiere "Alvinnn!!! And The Chipmunks" On Monday 12th October 2015

Nickelodeon Junior France, Nickelodeon France's local version of the popular Nick Jr. preschool channel, has announced the exciting Nickelodeon International News in their new trailer, below, that Nickelodeon Junior France will start to premiere and show the brand-new CG-animated preschool series "Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks", locally titled "Alvin et les Chipmunks", from Monday 12th October 2015 at 18h15!:

To celebrate, NickelodeonJunior.fr has launched Nickelodeon Junior's official "Alvin et les Chipmunks" show website, which features information about the brand-new "Alvin and The Chipmunks" television series and a fantastic video clip!

Alvin, Simon and Theodore are brothers who tour the world as famous rock stars and still manage to go to school. Completely normal... right? Did I also mention that they're Chipmunks? Along with their best friends, The Chipettes, Alvin and his chipmunk brothers cause tons of trouble on and off the stage while their dad, Dave, tries to manage these three rambunctious rodents, while writing all of their hit songs. Alvin, Theodore, and Simon are so different, it's hard to believe that they came from the same litter. With little voices and BIG personalities, there will be no shortage of adventures when these Chipmunks hit the stage!

The new animated series, "ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks", created by Janice Karman, will take viewers on a roller-coaster ride of music, laughter and stories geared to entertain four generations of "The Chipmunks" fans. Presented for the first time in glorious CGI, the series features ground-breaking animation and a new, original Chipmunk song in every episode. The series is an animated version of a prime-time sitcom and reflects the trials and tribulations of a single parent, David Seville, trying to raise six hyper-active Chipmunks. Like most parents, Dave's patience will be pushed to the limit, forcing him to end most sentences in "ALVINNN!!!"

"ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks" is created, written, produced, voiced and directed by Janice Karman. She and her husband, Ross Bagdasarian, are the owners of the popular Chipmunks franchise and producers of the previous 1980's hit TV series and three blockbuster Chipmunks movies. The new "ALVINNN!!!" reboot series marks the return of the franchise to TV after 20 years and is produced in collaboration with OuiDO! Productions and was commissioned by M6.

Nickelodeon acquired the broadcast rights to the first two seasons (104 x 11 minute episodes) of "ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks" in February 2014 and is currently rolling the show out on more than 70 of their international channels (excluding Nickelodeon Brazil).

Nickelodeon UK Reshuffles Programming Team

Nickelodeon UK has made changes within its programming executive ranks following the August departure of Tim Patterson, who served as Vice President (VP) and Director of Programming at the Viacom-owned company. Following Tim's departure, his role is now being shared between existing Nickelodeon UK executives Alison Bakunowich (pictured) and Alan Musa.

In her new role as VP, Head of Editorial at Nickelodeon UK & Ireland, Bakunowich has taken responsibility for linear planning and scheduling and media planning, working closely with Nina Hahn, Senior Vice President (SVP) of Production & Development at Nickelodeon, as well as Layla Lewis, VP of International Programming Acquisitions. Bakunowich, who moved to Nick UK from the net's Australia office in 2011, will lead local program acquisitions and commissions while continuing with her responsibilities for the marketing, communications and creative departments.

Meanwhile, Musa takes responsibility for the delivery of Nickelodeon content across all non-linear platforms and the rights negotiations across all content. His job title remains VP, Commercial Director Nickelodeon UK & Ireland. While he is currently responsible for Nick's UK distribution agreements, Musa's increased role overseeing rights and delivery across all platforms is in effort to make partnerships with the net's affiliates and distributors more streamlined and strategic.

Former Fox Kids and Disney executive Patterson joined Nickelodeon in 2012 as VP of scheduling. Since his departure from Nick last month, he has established T1M Consult, which works across all programming genres, with a specialization in kids and family.

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis has partnered with Nickelodeon for the first-ever museum exhibit featuring the heroic and iconic "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"!

Families around the world have shared a love of the hilarious crime-fighting Heroes in a Half Shell since they first rose from the sewers in 1984 to discover their destiny as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated series breathes new life into the popular characters and now families will be able to join the team and experience the world of the four fun-loving teen ninjas, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael, in the first-ever "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" museum exhibit, "Secrets of the Sewer"!

The "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" touring museum exhibit will feature these beloved pizza-eating, crime-fighting heroes in a half-shell as they hone their ninja skills and problem-solving intellects.

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis has developed a stellar reputation for fun and imaginative family learning experiences. This exhibit will look through that lens as it focuses on teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving with help from the lean, green ninja team. Children and families will work their way through puzzles, mazes, and other obstacles to discover ways they, too, can leap to the rescue in a sewer-like lair where the good guys win and bad guys lose. Each battle is sure to teach dudes and dudettes a little more about themselves as they improve their skills with each training session!

The "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer" exhibit will be available to visit at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis between Saturday 26th September 2015 and Sunday 10th April 2016!

Similar to Nickelodeon's past successful partnership with The Children's Museum to create "Dora and Diego – Let's Explore!", the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle" exhibit will tour children's museums and science centers across North America for five years following it's Indianapolis premier.

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is a nonprofit institution committed to creating extraordinary learning experiences across the arts, sciences, and humanities that have the power to transform the lives of children and families.
