Nickelodeon Superstar SpongeBob SquarePants To Support Breast Cancer Research Australia

The licensing business news website Licensing.biz is reporting the Sponge-tastic news in the following article that Nickelodeon Australia has once again partnered with The National Breast Cancer Foundation (Australia) to turn Nickelodeon megastar SpongeBob SquarePants pink in support of breast cancer research!


Throughout breast cancer awareness month, taking place during October 2014, a range of sleepwear labelled SpongeBob PinkPants will be sold through Big W stores in Australia.

Priced from AUD$20-$25, a portion of all SpongeBob PinkPants pyjama and nightie sales will go towards breast cancer research projects to help NBCF achieve its aspirational goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030:

Spongebob PinkPants sleepwear line will be sold through Big W stores in Australia.

Nickelodeon has once again partnered with The National Breast Cancer Foundation to turn Spongebob Squarepants pink in support of breast cancer research.

Throughout October - which is breast cancer awareness month - a range of sleepwear labelled Spongebob PinkPants will be sold through Big W stores in Australia.

Priced from $20-$25, a portion of all Spongebob PinkPants pyjama and nightie sales will go towards breast cancer research projects to help NBCF achieve its aspirational goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.

"We are grateful to have Spongebob PinkPants products involved again in raising money for breast cancer research," said Carole Renouf, CEO of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. "Every dollar raised through the sale of the Spongebob PinkPants products will take us one step closer towards our goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030."

Claire O'Connor, ANZ director of consumer products for Nickelodeon Viacom Consumer Products, added: "This is our fourth year supporting this great cause and we hope that our Spongebob PinkPants range can once again make a valuable contribution to funding breast cancer research projects."

Nickelodeon Benelux Acquires Rights To "The New Adventures of Geronimo Stilton"

Kidscreen and Animation Magazine are reporting the exciting Nickelodeon news in the following articles that Nickelodeon Northern Europe has acquired the broadcast rights to the brand-new "Geronimo Stilton" animated series "The New Adventures of Geronimo Stilton", based on the popular book series of the same name, for Nickelodeon Benelux (Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland) and Nickelodeon Belgium (Belgiƫ; Flanders))!

"The New Adventures of Geronimo Stilton" (26 x 22-minute eps), produced by Atlantyca Entertainment and the French production company Superprod, with the participation of Rai, follows the story of internationally renowned mouse-journalist Geronimo as he travels across the globe, and features faster moving storylines than the original 2009 series, which currently airs Nickelodeon Netherlands, Nickelodeon Belgium, and Nickelodeon Scandinavia (Nickelodeon Denmark (Danmark) and Nickelodeon Sweden (Sverige)).

Atlantyca has also secured pre-sales with broadcasters ARD and Kika in Germany and Canal Panda in Portugal for the all-new animated "The New Adventures of Geronimo Stilton" television series. Atlantyca announced the deals at MIPCOM 2014 in Cannes

His popularity may be quiet as a mouse Stateside, but Geronimo Stilton will expand his reach across Europe with the creation of a new animated series from Atlantyca Entertainment and French prodco Superprod, with the participation of Rai.

The New Adventures of Geronimo Stilton (26 x 22-minute eps) follows the story of mouse-journalist Geronimo across the globe, with faster moving storylines than the original. For this new series, Atlantyca has already signed broadcast licensing agreements with ARD and Kika (Germany), Nickelodeon (Belgium, Holland) and Canal Panda (Portugal).

Based on the kids books launched in 2000 by Italian publisher Edizioni Piemme, Geronimo Stilton books have sold more than 100 million copies across 150 countries.
