Meet the villains the Mysticons will have to face in Nickelodeon's brand-new animated series!

A mythic quest to save the world unfolds in Nickelodeon’s newest animated series, Mysticons, premiering Monday, August 28, at 4 p.m. (ET/PT)! Produced by Corus Entertainment’s premier animation company Nelvana, the half-hour action series rich in story and mythology follows four girls who transform into legendary warriors, Mysticons, who band together to save their realm from evil. The series airs at 4:00 p.m. (ET/PT) through Friday, Sept. 1, and continues with premieres in its regular timeslot of Sundays at 12:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. Mi9 To Represent Viacom Digital Properties In New Zealand

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) have partnered with Mi9, one of New Zealand's leading digital media companies, for Mi9 to represent Viacom's digital properties in New Zealand.

VIMN, a unit of Viacom Inc, is comprised of many of the world’s most popular multimedia entertainment brands including Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., MTV, Comedy Central and more. Collectively, VIMN’s digital properties reach an audience of hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders

“We are immensely excited about this new partnership with Viacom International Media Networks,” Rhys Heron, Managing Director (MD) of Mi9 New Zealand, told B&T. “MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Comedy Central all have real brand cache that we believe is highly attractive to marketers.”

“The inclusion of these iconic brands into our suite of digital properties represents a new and exciting strategic relationship for Mi9 New Zealand and offers our clients strong digital properties with a majority youth audience.”

According to Nielsen Answers, 15-to-34-year-olds make up more than 72 per cent of monthly digital unique audiences for MTV and 83 per cent for Comedy Central in New Zealand.

“MTV and Comedy Central content is hugely popular with young audiences, particularly on mobile. This partnership offers New Zealand advertisers access to what is a highly desirable and difficult-to-reach audience,” said Heron.

VIMN will also work with Mi9 to offer brands content integrations where it can create a custom environment for advertisers and their brands online. These integrations can be supported offline with events and social media activity.

Nick Germany To Air "Nickelodeon Spieltag 2017 – Die Show" Special On Saturday 19th August 2017

Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland) has announced in the following press release that on Saturday 19th August 2017, Nickelodeon will celebrate Spieltag 2017, Nickelodeon Germany's local version of Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play!

Since 2010, Nickelodeon Deutschland has once a year gone dark to help empower kids to get up, go out into the fresh air to play, and get active.

This year, Nickelodeon will stay on the air, and broadcast Nickelodeon Spieltag, a big brand-new game event for kids!

Similar to Spiel ohne Grenzen, the German equivalent of the British game show It’s A Knockout (don't mention the "royal" special), Nickelodeon Spieltag will see kids from all across Germany compete against each other in a series of fun and crazy "no limits" games. Four teams, each with four kids, will meet in Movie Park Germany, home of Nickland, will be put through five rounds of challenging "no limits" games, such as "Stuntastische Autobahn", and the "Plitsch-Platsch-Ratz-Fatz-Wasser-Parcours" in the outdoor pool. Following the five rounds of tasks, the teams will go into the finals to see which team will win this years Nickelodeon Spieltag!

Nickelodeon Spieltag 2017 will be hosted by Nickelodeon presenter Sascha Quade (Kazoom, Hey Nickelodeon), with commentary from sports commentator Holger Pfandt. Fans can also look forward to an appearance from YouTube stars "Die Lochis", who will be hitting the stage and presenting two of their hit songs!

The 75-minute special event Nickelodeon Spieltag 2017 – Die Show will be broadcast on Saturday 19th August 2017 at 09:15 Uhr on Nickelodeon Deutschland, and at 11:05 Uhr on Nickelodeon Austria (Österreich) and Nickelodeon Switzerland (Schweiz).

Bereits seit 2010 animiert der Viacom-Kindersender seine Zuschauer dazu, raus zu gehen, Spaß am Spielen zu haben und gemeinsam aktiv zu sein. In diesem Jahr steht der Nickelodeon Spieltag zum ersten Mal nicht unter dem Motto Schwarzbild: Das Programm im TV wird nicht abgeschaltet – sondern wird durch ein großes Kinder-Spiele-Event begleitet.

Dafür wird ein eigenes Show-Event produziert. Ähnlich wie in der legendären Show „Spiel ohne Grenzen“, treten Kinder aus ganz Deutschland in wahnwitzigen Spiele-Disziplinen gegeneinander an. Vier Teams, mit jeweils vier Kids treffen im Movie Park Germany, der auch das Nickland beheimatet, aufeinander. Den Aufgaben sind dabei im wahrsten Sinne keine Grenzen gesetzt; ob beim Spiel „Stuntastische Autobahn“ oder dem „Plitsch-Platsch-Ratz-Fatz-Wasser-Parcours“ im Freibad – die Kids werden ganz schön gefordert. USA: eOne Debuts Exclusive "Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom" Toy Line From Jazwares At Target

Entertainment One (eOne) has launched an exclusive line of toys based on the Emmy award-winning preschool property, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom, airing daily on Nick Jr., at Target stores across the USA. The debut assortment from master toy licensee Jazwares will be followed by the first book title from newly signed publishing partner Scholastic on October 15.

Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie takes the kids on the field trip of a lifetime: action packed and full of adventure! They’ll join Arnold on a quest in which he’ll try to achieve his ultimate dream and finally find his missing parents. It all starts when Arnold and his classmates take a trip to San Lorenzo, South America, which, coincidentally, is the last place Arnold’s parents were seen! Their trip takes a turn when pirates kidnap Arnold and his friends! From there it’s one jungle hazard after another, and the gang must put their heads together to get out of danger. As the leader of the journey, Arnold must make sure he and his friends survive safely, all while working towards a reunion he’s dreamt of his whole life!

The two-hour TV movie features a storyline that picks up from where the original series ended in the "The Journal" in 2004 and resolves unanswered questions and plotlines-including Arnold finally getting answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents, Arnold's last name, and how Arnold feels about Helga! The movie is co-written and executive produced by the series’ original creator Craig Bartlett and produced by Nickelodeon in Burbank, Calif.

on Thursday 23rd November 2017, as part of the networks Thanksgiving celebrations.

UK: CITV Picks Up Rights To "ToonMarty"

Barcelona-based distributor GoldBee has licensed ToonMarty, an animated comedy series made by Montreal's Sardine Productions, to CITV, the free-to-air (FTA) kids channel operated by ITV in the UK.

ToonMarty takes place in Toonville, where all cartoons live. The 40×11-minute show centers on Toonmart employee Marty, who is always sticking his nose in everyone else’s business. It was originally commissioned by Corus Entertainment for its French and English TELETOON networks and debuted on both channels in Canada last May.

The deal follows the recent pick up by Nickelodeon, which took it for its international channels and catch-up services around the world, excluding North America, China and Japan. Nickelodeon started to roll out the show on Nickelodeon's international channels last May.

Christophe Goldberger, GoldBee’s managing director, commented: “We are happy to see ToonMarty expand its presence with such a great partner as CITV. The tone of this outstanding comedy resonates with kids globally, combining hilarious slapstick elements with witty dialogues.”

Darren Nartey, ITV’s program acquisitions executive, noted: “We are delighted to be the home of ToonMarty in the U.K. It is a great comedy with fantastic animation, which will appeal to CITV’s core audience.”

Ghislain Cyr, president and producer at Sardine Productions, added: “We are delighted to count CITV amongst our partners. This is so rewarding for all of us at Sardine to know that kids from the U.K. and all around the world will be watching our series and hopefully have a good laugh!”

It is currently unclear whether Nicktoons UK & Ireland will still air the series.

The property has been supported by The Bell Fund, The Canadian Media Fund, the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit (CPTC), The Shaw Rocket Fund and the Société de Développement des Entreprises Culturelles (SODEC).
