Meet Dave Cooper And Johnny Ryan, The Creators Of "Pig Goat Banana Cricket"

To celebrate Nickelodeon's brand-new original animated comedy series "Pig Goat Banana Cricket", Nick USA has unveiled a fantastic video interview with Dave Cooper and Johnny Ryan, the creators of Nickelodeon's all-new NickToon, on their official YouTube channel, which you can watch in the online streaming video clip below!:



Recorded at Nickelodeon's Comic-Con International: San Diego 2015 booth, Dave Cooper and Johnny Ryan spill the beans on how they created this hilarious show, from their original Nickelodeon Magazine comic "Cupcakes of Time" and their animated short "Pig Goat Banana Mantis" to "Pig Goat Banana Cricket"! Dave and Johnny also talk about the switching from comics to television, which actors they'd like to see play Pig, Goat, Banana and Cricket in a live-action version of PGBC, what the development process was like and what inspired the show, including classic Nickelodeon shows "You Can't Do That on Television", "The Ren & Stimpy Show" and "Aaahh!!! Real Monsters", the evolution of Cricket, who was originally a robot, which characters they most relate too, the shows voice casting process, and what it's like to attend San Diego Comic Con with Nickelodeon!

The entertainment industry news blog Showbuzz Daily is reporting the fantastic news that the series premiere episode of the brand-new CG-animated "Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks" TV series, "Talkin Teddy"/"Principal Interest" on Nickelodeon USA on Monday 3rd August 2015 at 4:00pm ET/PT was watched by 2,266,000 viewers, and was the 15th most-watched original cable telecast for 8/3 (P18-49)!
