Though we have gotten several teasers for Enter the Florpus, this is the first preview that actually gives us a better look at the whole story. Plus, we finally get to see more of Zim’s nemesis Dib (and his sister Gaz). And before you ask, yes, those are flaming peanuts.

Created by Jhonen Vasquez, Invader Zim premiered on March 30, 2001, running for 27 episodes over two seasons on Nickelodeon, winning an Emmy Award and an Annie Award for individual achievement in animation (which went to storyboard artists Kyle Menke and Steve Ressel, respectively) - and getting “The Doom Song” stuck in jillions of puny human heads. The series chronicles an alien named Zim who arrived on Earth from his home planet of Irk with imperialistic intentions of conquering the planet (in order to gain favor with his Irken home race). Wildly ineffective but hilariously earnest, Zim and his robot companion GIR attempted to blend in and study the human race while simultaneously trying to enslave it. Despite Zim and GIR's subpar disguises, the only humans who realize they are extraterrestrials are school-aged paranormal investigator Dib. Invader ZIM boasts a devoted fandom. The series is produced by Nickelodeon.

The 2D-animated TV movie, directed by Jhonen Vasquez and Jake Wyatt and produced by Nickelodeon in Burbank, will see original voice cast members Richard Horvitz (The Angry Beavers) and Rikki Simons return as fan-favorites ZIM and GIR, alongside Andy Berman as Dib Membrane and Melissa Fahn as Gaz Membrane. Additional voice actors reprising their original series roles include: Wally Wingert as Almighty Tallest Red; Kevin McDonald as Almighty Tallest Purple; Rodger Bumpass (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Professor Membrane, Dib and Gaz's father; Olivia d'Abo as Tak, ZIM's Irken nemesis; and Paul Greenberg as Poonchy, one of ZIM and Dib's human classmates, as well as Jhonen Vasquez, Eric Bauza, Breehn Burns, Justin Roiland, Fred Tatasciore, Jenny Goldberg, Mo Collins, and Michael McDonald.

Videoland to Adds Nickelodeon Netherlands' 'ZOOP!'

Videoland in the Netherlands has acquired the rights to ZOOP, and will add Nickelodeon Netherlands' (Nederland) award-winning Dutch-language family comedy drama series to its streaming service on Thursday 19th September 2019!

Zoop followed the lives of eight young adults working in the Ouwehands Dierenpark zoo in Rhenen. The series ran for 325 x 10-minute episodes over three seasons between 5 April 2004 – 2007. The series inspired three spin-off movies, Zoop in Afrika (2005), Zoop in India (2006), and Zoop in Zuid-Amerika (2007). Videoland has the rights to all 325 episodes of the series, however, the deal doesn't include the movies.

The news follows NL Film, which holds the rights to the Zoop series, recently saying that they would be open to making a fourth Zoop movie, and that although its not something that's being actively worked on, they would like the movie to take place in China.

Johan Nijenhuis, who directed the series and made the three films fifteen years ago, also said that he can "certainly to see the potential [to make] Zoop for a new generation".

The news also follows the stars of Zoop! recently coming together for a reunion.

Yes! Videoland heeft officieel aangekondigd dat de eerste drie seizoenen van ZOOP binnenkort verschijnen op het platform.

Fans van het eerste uur, opgelet: alle seizoenen van ZOOP komen bij Videoland. De Nickelodeon-serie zal vanaf 19 september te zien zijn op de streamingdienst. En dat betekent dat je eindeloos Bionda, Alwin, Mike, Elise, Sira, Bastiaan, Aaron, Taffie en Moes kunt kijken. Eindelijk: ZOOP is vanaf vandaag te zien bij Videoland

Yes! En nu maar hopen dat het lelijk weer blijft, want we kunnen drie seizoenen lang ZOOP bingewatchen! Vanaf vandaag staat deze hilarische jeugd-soapserie namelijk op Videoland.

Wie is er niet mee opgegroeid? Drie seizoenen lang konden we genieten van acht jongeren die een droomopleiding volgden tot dierenverzorger in het Ouwehands Dierenpark in Rhenen. Honderden fans genoten van alle avonturen en streken van Taffy, de heerlijk zwoele stem en gitaarkunsten van Bastiaan en van de altijd populaire Bionda, die ervoor zorgde dat alle mannen smoorverliefd op haar werden. De serie was zelfs zo'n succes dat het is verkocht aan Brazilië, Frankrijk, India en Zweden.

Nadat het derde seizoen in 2006 was afgelopen, werden alle afleveringen opnieuw uitgezonden op Nickelodeon. De laatste aflevering was te zien in 2010, waardoor de succesvolle serie voor een periode van zes jaar te zien was. Tussen de seizoenen door werden ook speciale afleveringen uitgezonden. Maar nu kunnen we jaren later onze herinneringen opfrissen en eindelijk weer genieten van de avonturen in de dierentuin.

“PAW Patrol Live!,” a theatrical performance, kicked off its China tour on February 26.

Children in major Chinese cities will be able to enjoy “Race to the Rescue” and “The Great Pirate Adventure” from “PAW Patrol Live!” in the coming months.

Based on the hit animated TV series on Nickelodeon, the shows will bring lovely pups on the stage for an action-packed and dynamic musical adventure.

The pups will give a new interpretation of the slogan “no job is too big, no pup is too small,” and share lessons about social skills, problem-solving and teamwork.

“Race to the Rescue” is a story about the PAW Patrol’s mission to rescue Mayor Goodway and help her finish the race. In “The Great Pirate Adventure,” the PAW Patrol sets out over land and sea to find the pirate treasure.

The live action will feature up-tempo music, original script and classic theatrical scenery. By May, a total of 241 shows will be staged across 20 cities in China, including Shanghai, Hangzhou and Wuhan.

If you’re looking for an invigorating way to end the summer and jumpstart your animation career, look no further than the Pixelatl festival, which takes place Sept. 3-7 in the lush town of Cuernavaca, cradled by the Tepozteco mountains, south of Mexico City.

According to the festival’s ebullient director Jose Iñesta, this year’s edition promises to be quite memorable, with a special focus on celebrating artists’ “roots and tomorrow.” “The way I see it, we need to acknowledge our roots and where we come from to project ourselves to the future,” he explains. “For us, the most basic root that we share with all human beings is storytelling: It’s what makes us human and helps us to connect with one another and form a community. I also want to highlight our creative partner this year, Kraneo Animation Studio. They have gone beyond the challenge of creating a promo for the festival to create the whole experience of the event. You can see roots, masks, and beautiful craftsmanship that stop-motion brings to the media in all our promotional material.”

One of the year’s big highlights is a celebration of animation, games and comic-books of Spain. “Spain is our country of honor, and there will be a track of Spanish activities, conferences, screenings, workshops, etc.,” notes Iñesta. “We also have a track of videogames that includes a 20-hour workshop for game level design. All of these, in addition to our animators, illustrators, and producers track, make the festival rich in content. I should mention that other activities that excite me the most are the VR workshop with Goro Fujita and the strong stop-motion directors participating like Adam Elliot and Cesar Díaz.”

Most attendees agree with Iñesta that the Pixelatl is quite different from events of its kind, in part because of its beautiful environment and relaxed ambience. After all, there are not too many places where animators and artists can hang out with peacocks in a beautiful garden. Among the top animation luminaries attending this year are Jhonen Vasquez (Invader Zim), Adam Elliot (Mary and Max), Susie Lewis (Sea Rescue), Kaitlin Tremblay (Ubisoft), Andrea Fernandez (The Cuphead Show), Joan Loft (Peppa Pig), Donna Lewis (Disney), Stu Livingston (Hey Arnold! Since Iñesta travels the world and is in contact with animation movers and shakers everywhere, we had to ask him about his take on the state of the art form globally. “There’s so much going on,” he responds. “The broadcasters and SVODs need content for their new platforms and are commissioning shows left and right. The Mexican animation industry is also growing. Thanks to the Pixelatl Festival, there are six series in production, six option deals in development, and over 60 service agreements with Mexican studios. Over the past eight years, our major achievement is that we have a creative community that is helping everyone grow.”

Iñesta is also quite pleased to see the growth of the Center for Stop Motion Animation in Guadalajara, which is supported by Guillermo del Toro, which will help continue strengthening and growing the art form in the region. “Stop-motion animation is something that occurs naturally in Mexico,” he says. “We have the artistry and theatrical approach to storytelling and when you mix the two, stop-motion is the best tool to tell stories. We are very pleased that our previous festival award-winners Cinema Fantasma studio (founded by brothers Roy and Arturo Ambriz) is now developing a feature film (The Ballad of the Phoenix) in stop-motion now.”

The director says the best way to make the most of Pixelatl is to prepare ahead of time. “There are so many activities that you might feel you are missing an important talk or workshop,” he points out. “My suggestion is pick the one that you feel is the best for you, and then play it by ear. You never know who you’ll meet in the garden or networking area, so perhaps it’s better to stay there than to enter an activity.”

He leaves us with these final words of wisdom. “If you are happy and relaxed, knowledge will come your way anyway. So don’t panic, don’t enter activities obsessively. Just enjoy meeting new people, draw, share your portfolios with other people (you never know who you are pitching to), and have a good time.” ¡Muy buen consejo!

Under the terms of deal, ACCESS is acquiring the rights to make linear feeds of Nickelodeon, MTV and Comedy Central available in German-language for integration into in-car infotainment systems being developed by German car manufacturers.

The channels available via ACCESS’s Twine4Car service will be a simulcast of the linear TV networks that VIMN makes available free-to-air (FTA) in Germany, featuring the very same content and advertising.

Nickelodeon content available through the Twine4Car service will include evergreen animation SpongeBob SquarePants (SpongeBob Schwammkopf) and international events like the Kids’ Choice Awards, as well as hit local language productions such as Spotlight. Na końcu książki pojawia się zabawa, łącząca właśnie poznane przez dziecko tematy edukacyjne.

W każdym zestawie 16 kart znajduje się 6 kart edukacyjnych, które mają odniesienia do zadań w książce: 2 karty z literami i przynajmniej 1 karta z cyfrą. Pozostałe karty edukacyjne są związane z tematyką danej książki. Kolejnych 12-13 kart jest potrzebnych do różnorakich gier (Piotruś, memo, szukanie par, domino, gra zegarowa) oraz ułożenia obrazka – po zebraniu wszystkich 16 części kolekcji.

Collection of Kids and Family Entertainment Across Some of Today's Most Popular Children's Programming Available in a Single Destination; Parental Controls Within The Roku Channel Available Starting Today

LOS GATOS, Calif.--Roku, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROKU) today announced the addition of “Kids & Family” on The Roku Channel, the home for free and premium entertainment on the Roku platform. The new Kids & Family experience makes it easy for children and parents to find a great selection of tailored content available for free and through Premium Subscriptions available in one, easy-to-access destination. In addition, Roku is rolling out Parental Control features for The Roku Channel giving parents an additional layer of control over what their kids can playback within the channel.

Parents looking to find great programming for their children will enjoy the ease of going to The Roku Channel as their one place for kids and family entertainment.”


Kids & Family on The Roku Channel

An Aggregated Experience with No Additional Subscriptions or Fees Required

Kids & Family delivers a unique blend of quality shows, movies, live linear and short-form video typically found across multiple free and paid kids’ channels and brings them together to watch in a single place. In addition to the thousands of free, ad-supported options, users who have already subscribed to Premium Subscriptions through The Roku Channel will be able to view subscription-based kids and family content from partners such as Nickelodeon's Noggin, Hopster and Zoomoo, as well as children’s entertainment from services such as HBO and STARZ, directly within Kids & Family.

-- Editorial approach: Roku’s in-house editorial team created the Kids & Family experience to feature series, movies and entertainment that kids celebrate and love

-- Variety and breadth of entertainment: 7,000 free, ad-supported movies and TV episodes will be available to users from more than 20 key partners such as All Spark, A Hasbro Company, DHX Media, Happy Kids TV, Lionsgate, Mattel, Moonbug, and pocket.watch, among others. Programming includes:

- Favorite TV and online franchises such as Thomas & Friends, Care Bears, The Cat in the Hat, Leapfrog, Little Baby Bum, My Little Pony, Rev & Roll, Super Mario Brothers and more

- Live/linear streams featuring 24/7 kids programming will be available from Moonbug, pocket.watch and partners powered by XUMO including, Ameba, BatteryPop, KidGenius

- Five exclusive episodes of 22-minute Ryan’s World by pocket.watch specials will be available directly on The Roku Channel for the first time

-- Easy to access Premium Subscriptions: Those who’ve subscribed to Blue Ant Media’s ZooMoo, CONtv, Dove Channel, HBO, Hopster, NOGGIN, STARZ, or Up Faith and Family through The Roku Channel will be able to view entertainment directly in the Kids & Family experience. These subscribers will find fan favorites such as Bubble Guppies, Dora the Explorer, PAW Patrol, Peppa Pig, and family friendly movies, including Adventures of Elmo in Groucholand, Muppets Take Manhattan and more, living alongside popular AVOD entertainment

More Entertainment, Fewer Commercials

Roku partners with a great selection of brands to deliver compelling content to users without any additional fees. Kids & Family will have approximately 40% of the advertising time of traditional linear television. In addition, LEGO Systems has signed on as the first advertising sponsor of Kids & Family on The Roku Channel.

Rokus’ VP of content Rob Holmes told Deadline, “We wanted to bring all of that content together in a single destination. Kids just want the characters that they want. They have no particular association with where the characters originate. Children tend to say, ‘I want Pikachu’ and ‘I want PAW Patrol.’ Who the linear network or studio behind that is not relevant to them.”

Parental Controls Within The Roku Channel

Roku today also announced it is offering additional PIN-based playback controls to The Roku Channel to help parents set access limits to content based on ratings within The Roku Channel. If the setting is enabled, a PIN will be required in order to view videos on The Roku Channel based on the content rating. Availability

Kids & Family will be available to users of The Roku Channel in the U.S. starting today. It will be available on Roku devices, via the Web and on select Samsung smart TVs that access The Roku Channel. Kids & Family will be accessible on the Web here.

Pocket.watch Launches 24/7 Kids’ Channel on Roku’s Ad-Supported Streaming Platform

The channel will feature content from Ryan’s ToysReview, EvanTube, JillianTube, and the HobbyKids

Pocket.watch, a children’s entertainment company, has announced the launch of a 24/7 channel on Roku’s ad-supported streaming service, The Roku Channel.

The new channel will be housed in the newly launched Roku Kids section of the streamer’s ad-supported service, making it one of the first partners on the new destination. As part of the partnership, pocket.watch will act as a featured content provider, premiering exclusive content from Ryan Kaji of the YouTube channel Ryan’s ToysReview. Pocket.watch plans to launch five 22-minute ad-supported “Ryan’s World” specials that will be exclusive to the platform until Nov. 19.

Overall, pocket.watch’s 24/7 channel will include content from the company’s content partners, including Ryan’s ToysReview, EvanTube, JillianTube, and the HobbyKids.

Among the premium content featured on pocket.watch's channel will be a daily two-hour "Ryan's World" block, an animated cartoon based on the HobbyKids family, co-created by Butch Hartman ("Fairly Odd Parents,", "Danny Phantom"), a live-action and animation hybrid from EvanTube, and mixed-media play-ventures.

In the future, the company says it plans to launch additional content from its other digital partners, including The Onyx Family, MarMar, and a host of new pocket.watch creators.

Launched by former Disney exec Chris Williams in 2017, pocket.watch has made a business by creating franchises based on popular YouTube creators. It has developed and launched a consumer product line based on Ryan's ToysReview and also produces "Ryan's Mystery Playdate," which airs on Nickelodeon.

Based in Culver City, the company has raised more than $20 million in funding from investors, including Viacom, Greycroft, Third Wave Digital and United Talent Agency (UTA).
