The Corporate Community Partnership Looks To Bolster Youth Fire Education Awareness Through PAW Patrol™ Franchise.

Paramount Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) has announced the commencement of a new corporate community partnership with Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW).

The inaugural partnership which commences this month, will support fire education and awareness initiatives for youth audiences by harnessing an alignment with the hit animated preschool property PAW Patrol, airing on Nickelodeon and produced by Spin Master Entertainment.

Following the outstanding response to PAW Patrol’s association with the 2023 FRNSW Open Day at the Emergency Services Academy in 2023, this partnership will see crucial fire safety messages conveyed to children through messaging from PAW Patrol’s cast of characters.

Minister for Emergency Services, Jihad Dib, said the new partnership will help young people connect with important fire safety messaging, with the popular PAW Patrol characters championing these messages and sharing them in an engaging way.

“With a special appeal to young people, we look forward to seeing Marshall and his mates at FRNSW events and taking part in other community activities which promote fire safety in our homes.”

FRNSW Commissioner, Jeremy Fewtrell, hopes having the fire service team up with PAW Patrol will develop more fire safety ‘ambassadors’ across the state.

“It’s crucial everyone knows how to protect themselves against the risks of fire, but we acknowledge people learn this in different ways,” Commissioner Fewtrell said.

“What we often find through our education programs is that, once children learn about fire prevention and how to react if a fire breaks out, they then share this information with parents and grandparents, among others.”

Paramount Australia Senior Vice President, Content & Programming, Daniel Monaghan, said Nickelodeon is “beyond proud to be partnering with FRNSW.”

“FRNSW and PAW Patrol share the universal themes of rescue, community service, teamwork and friendship, making it the perfect partnership,” Mr Monaghan said.

“We look forward to contributing to the awareness of fire safety messages amongst some of the youngest members of the community.”

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 12, 2024 - Nickelodeon, The Pinkfong Company, and VStar Entertainment Group proudly debuted Baby Shark's Big Broadwave Tour! on Saturday, Feb. 3 in Sioux City, IA. Audience members were captivated by the live stage show's vibrant blend of stunning visual effects, catchy tunes, and the beloved characters from the hit animated series, Baby Shark's Big Show!, airing on Nickelodeon. From the moment Baby Shark and his undersea friends took to the stage to save the Party Puddle Theatre, joyous laughter and smiles filled the Orpheum Theatre. The audience's electrifying energy brought the underwater world to life and created a "wave" of memories for kids and adults alike.

The tour's success in Sioux City is just the beginning of its "swimsational" journey across the U.S. though 2024, showcasing a colorful storyline, all-new music, and exciting twists on tunes from the Nickelodeon series. Baby's Shark's Big Broadwave Tour! promises to make a splash in every city it visits, leaving a trail of smiles and memories in its wake.

Baby's Shark's Big Broadwave Tour! marks the sixth touring collaboration for VStar Entertainment Group and Nickelodeon since their partnership began in 2016. The two entertainment organizations have brought beloved Nickelodeon characters to life on stage for millions of young audiences around the world with tours including PAW Patrol Live! "The Great Pirate Adventure" and the newest addition to the touring franchise PAW Patrol Live! "Heroes Unite," both currently touring across North America.

Baby Shark's Big Broadwave Tour! follows Baby and his "fincredible" fishy friends on an undersea adventure filled with oceans of fun and "finship"! After Bentley Barracuda plans to tear down the beloved Party Puddle Theatre, Baby and his squiddo friends must dive into action and travel to the deep dark depths of the ocean, to Wavey Jones' Locker, and through "Finterstellar Space" to create a "flowstopping," splash-hit Broadwave "swimsation." To save the theatre, they will need the audience to help fill the Party Puddle Applause Meter and put on the biggest Broadwave show ever, showcasing everyone can Doo-Doo-Doo-Doo-Doo-Doo it!

The new Archive app immerses fans in nearly two-hours of groundbreaking Star Trek spatial experiences built exclusively for Apple Vision Pro, allowing them to explore hundreds of fully realized locations, artifacts and unique items - spanning every Star Trek TV show and film across the franchise's nearly 60-year history.

Created exclusively for Apple Vision Pro app, a select number of Star Trek assets are available as downloadable holographic objects which can be placed in the user's home environment. These models and sets can be shrunk or expanded from life size to dollhouse scales while rendering at a fidelity and quiescence never before possible on consumer hardware.

Video capture of The Archive spatial experience on Apple Vision Pro, guiding audiences through a wide range of iconic Star Trek sets across many different Star Trek eras with the highest level of visual fidelity and historical accuracy.

Audiences can play with the size and scale of the legendary U.S.S Enterprise - enabling them to experience what it is like to walk around the original 11-foot physical U.S.S Enterprise model on display at the Smithsonian, or have the in-universe 1:1 life size 1000-foot ship fly overhead.

OTOY concept videos and documentary films from recent Roddenberry Archive releases have been remastered specifically for Apple Vision Pro and are featured in the app along with newly restored footage from the Roddenberry Archive - including previews of the unabridged interviews with George Lucas and Stan Lee exploring Gene Roddenberry’s influence on Star Wars and Marvel.

Samples of OTOY’s many years of collaboration with legendary creators are also included in the archive, including content done by OTOY in collaboration with Bruce Timm in 2014 for Batman: The Animated Series.

A preview of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D full sized model as an immersive spatial experience on Apple Vision Pro, enabling audiences to explore a life-size U.S.S. Enterprise-D in a spatial reality.

The app’s spatial content and streams were created by artists and studios using the Render Network and OTOY’s cutting-edge GPU rendering tools, bringing the highest levels of unbiased path-traced realism at unprecedented resolutions, powered by thousands of decentralized GPUs in the cloud. The app allows artists using OTOY’s tools to load their own immersive media creations on Apple Vision Pro and share it with others.

Featured in The Archive’s native spatial content for Apple Vision Pro are 1-meter by 1-meter light field cubes that are displayed at 90-frames-per-second in 4K resolution per eye, pushing the boundary on visual fidelity. Unbiased rendering and light field baking enable audiences to experience Star Trek worlds with fully path traced real time lighting, including dynamic glossy reflections and shadows, bringing revolutionary levels of photorealism to immersive content.

A preview of The Archive interactive experience, where audiences can use gestures to navigate between Star Trek environments and scale up and down Enterprise Starship models, enabling them to experience what it is like to walk around the original 11-foot physical USS Enterprise model on display at the Smithsonian, or have the in-universe 1:1 life size 1000-foot ship fly overhead.

The Archive was developed using the Universal Scene Description (USD) format as part of OTOY’s membership in The Alliance for OpenUSD – a group formed by Pixar and Apple, among others – that is working to standardize the USD format across the industry to help artists and developers create and deploy complex real-time 3D experiences at scale.

Rebecca Jenkins Named VP of Consumer Products at Paramount

Already overseeing Australia, New Zealand and Israel, Rebecca Jenkins will assume leadership of the UK and Ireland in her new position.

Rebecca Jenkins (pictured above) has been named the Vice President (VP) of Consumer Products for Paramount Global, in charge of the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Israel, it was announced on 8th February by Jamie Drew, Executive Vice President (EVP), Paramount Consumer Products & Experiences.

Rebecca has been with Paramount for five years in roles of increasing responsibility for licensing and retail, and has a strong track record of landing high-profile, global commercial partnerships, most recently including Lush x SpongeBob SquarePants and Calm x Paw Patrol. Already overseeing Australia, New Zealand and Israel, she will assume leadership of the UK and Ireland with her new position, overseeing some of the largest and most popular entertainment franchises in the world.

“Rebecca is highly strategic, data-driven and creative, leveraging her experience and market insights to secure new business opportunities,” said Jamie. “She has always been a fantastic ambassador for Paramount’s Consumer Products organisation, and I’m thrilled for her to take on this expanded role where she can further lead these markets to success.”

Oldham-based branded merchandise specialist Hunter Price International has announced a new collaboration with Paramount Consumer Products and leading mental health brand, Calm.

The collaboration will see Hunter Price team up with top-rated preschool brand PAW Patrol, and Calm, the number one app for sleep, relaxation and meditation, the latter two of whom have partnered for the first time to create an exclusive collection of Sleep Stories and meditations to aid a relaxing bedtime routine.

To fully complement the partnership and new bespoke content, which is available now on Calm, Hunter Price has been appointed to design, develop and deliver an impactful range of homeware, accessories and weighted plush.

PAW Patrol’s much-loved pups are featured throughout the range, from bedding, blankets and fleeces, to cushions, plush and mindfulness activities, including colouring and activity books, to encourage a calming and delightful evening wind down and restful night’s sleep.

The debut collection has just been unveiled publicly for the first time at the London Toy Fair, and its first retail range will arrive in retailers nationwide this summer.

SYNOPSIS:  Water. Earth. Fire. Air. The four nations once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, master of all four elements, keeping peace between them. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads, the first step taken by the firebenders towards conquering the world. With the current incarnation of the Avatar yet to emerge, the world has lost hope.

But like a light in the darkness, hope springs forth when Aang (Gordon Cormier), a young Air Nomad — and the last of his kind — reawakens to take his rightful place as the next Avatar. Alongside his newfound friends Sokka (Ian Ousley) and Katara (Kiawentiio), siblings and members of the Southern Water Tribe, Aang embarks on a fantastical, action-packed quest to save the world and fight back against the fearsome onslaught of Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim).
