Carl Greenblatt Issues Fans A "Harvey Beaks" Tumblr Fan Art Challenge

To celebrate Nickelodeon USA premiering and showing brand-new episodes of the networks newest hit original animated series (NickToon) "Harvey Beaks" every Sunday at 7:00pm ET/PT, Carl Greenblatt, the creator of "Harvey Beaks", has issued fans a Tumblr Fan Art Challenge!


To participate, all you need to do is download this blank template of Harvey Beaks from C.H. Greenblatt's official blog, Nerd Armada, draw a face on Harvey, and re-blog your picture! Don't forget to tag your post with #Harveyface so that the "Harvey Beaks" crew can find them all!

Nickelodeon Spain To Premiere "Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks" On Monday 11th May 2015

Nickelodeon Spain (Espana) has announced the exciting Nickelodeon International news in a post on the channels official Facebook profile page, Facebook.com/NickelodeonES, that Nickelodeon Spain will start to premiere and show the brand-new CG-animated preschool series "Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks", locally titled "ALVINNN!!! The new animated series, "ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks", created by Janice Karman, will take pre-schoolers on a roller-coaster ride of music, laughter and stories geared to entertain four generations of "The Chipmunks" fans. Presented for the first time in glorious CGI, the series features ground-breaking animation and a new, original Chipmunk song in every episode. The series is an animated version of a prime-time sitcom and reflects the trials and tribulations of a single parent, David Seville, trying to raise six hyper-active Chipmunks. Like most parents, Dave's patience will be pushed to the limit, forcing him to end most sentences in "ALVINNN!!!"

"ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks" is created, written, produced, voiced and directed by Janice Karman. She and her husband, Ross Bagdasarian, are the owners of the popular Chipmunks franchise and producers of the previous 1980's hit TV series and three blockbuster Chipmunks movies. The new "ALVINNN!!!" reboot series marks the return of the franchise to TV after 20 years and is produced in collaboration with OuiDO! Productions and was commissioned by M6.

Nickelodeon acquired the broadcast rights to the first two seasons (104 x 11 minute episodes) of "ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks" in February 2014 and will roll the show out on more than 70 of their international channels (excluding Nickelodeon USA and Nick Brazil) in early 2015.

Fans in the UK and Ireland can catch brand-new episodes of Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks every Friday at 5:30pm, only on Nick Jr. UK and Ireland!

Nickelodeon Developing New Show From TV Writers Alex Fox And Rachel Lewis

Ticket Sarasota is reporting the exciting news that TV writers Alexandra Fox and her writing partner Rachel Lewis recently wrote and shot a pilot which Nickelodeon is currently developing into a brand-new television series!


In a interview, Alexandra told Ticket Sarasota that her potential all-new Nickelodeon series was "basically about best friendship, being little and going on adventures".

Alex Fox and Rachel Lewis are comedians, writers, producers and actors who live in Los Angeles. In addition to their potential brand-new Nickelodeon show, they are on the staff writing team of the popular PBS Kids series "Odd Squad", who have been nominated for the "Outstanding Writing in a Children's or Pre-School Children’s Series" award at the 42nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards for their work on the show.

20-Episode Animated Adventure with Companion App to Debut in 2016


Burbank, Calif., (April, 23, 2015)Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, announced today it has ordered 20 episodes of the comedy-adventure series, Welcome to the Wayne, marking its first digital short-form series to be greenlit for television. Along with the pick-up, Nickelodeon will create a companion app, "The Wayne," allowing users to gain a deeper, hands-on experience into the series. Welcome to the Wayne, which originally launched as a series for the Emmy Award-winning Nick App and Nick.com last year, follows the adventures of two ten-year-old boys exploring the crazy, unpredictable world of their New York City apartment building, The Wayne. The series, created and written by Emmy Award-winning writer and composer Billy Lopez (The Wonder Pets, Phineas and Ferb), is scheduled to debut in 2016.

"The Wayne" app will be developed alongside the show, taking users further into the world of The Wayne. This companion app will give users a completely interactive experience, allowing them to explore the building where they will discover new characters and locations, solve puzzles and unlock clues to unravel a greater hidden mystery. New messages and clues will be communicated through videos, online games, photos and more.

Launched August 4, 2014, Welcome to the Wayne was the first web-exclusive series produced by Nickelodeon. Created by Lopez, the mini-series was comprised of six 4-to-5-minute episodes available each on Nick.com and the Nick App and follows the adventures of Olly Timbers and Ansi Molina, two ten-year-old boys exploring the crazy, unpredictable world of their New York City apartment building The Wayne.

Billy Lopez is an Emmy-nominated writer and Emmy-winning composer from New York City. He has written for shows including Phineas and Ferb and South Park and been head writer on several preschool shows, including The Wonder Pets!, 3rd & Bird! and PBS's Peg + Cat. Lopez also co-created an adult sitcom for ABC Studios.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nickelodeon is bringing the content library of beloved TV and style icons Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen to its screens through the acquisition of four series, seven TV movies and two music video specials starring the actresses. The first title from the library to debut, So Little Time, will air on Nickelodeon, Monday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) with episodes airing every weekday. Following this linear launch, the Olsens' catalogue will continue to roll out across Nickelodeon's ecosystem of multiple screens later this year.

Spanning a decade of adventures (1994-2003) from Mary-Kate and Ashley, the titles acquired by Nick include the animated series Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action!; live-action movies Winning London and When in Rome; and greatest hits music compilation, Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen: Our Music Video.

Nickelodeon's Flagship London Store to Open on Saturday 30th May 2015


LONDON/NEW YORK, 23 April 2015 – Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) today confirmed that the first flagship Nickelodeon Store will open to the public in one of London's premier tourism and retail destinations, Leicester Square, on Saturday 30th May 2015. The Store is owned and operated by Entertainment Retailer Limited, a subsidiary of Summit Retail International and a division of Entertainment Retail Enterprises. It will be the sixth retail store launched to date and the first store to open in Europe.


"The launch of the first flagship Nickelodeon Store and the first flagship store in Europe is a tremendous brand building opportunity for Nickelodeon and is true to our mission to create surprising and playful experiences everywhere kids and families go," commented Ron Johnson, Executive Vice President, NVCP. "The Nickelodeon London flagship store will offer a unique Nickelodeon experience and personal touch point for fans from around the world."


Spanning two floors and more than 4500 square feet, the store will offer kids and families the opportunity to experience and interact with one of the world's leading children's brands as well as Nickelodeon's beloved properties including global animations SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Nick Jr. pre-school hit, Dora the Explorer, in an exciting, tangible way currently unavailable in London.

The Nickelodeon store will feature state-of-the-art multimedia and interactive elements. The store presents a glass frontage of 1250 square metres looking out onto Leicester Square with 40 LCD screens within the store creating a compelling showcase for The Nickelodeon brand. The product range within the store will feature a broad array of more than 600 products across all key categories with 80% of store product created by Entertainment Retail Enterprises in partnership with Nickelodeon and exclusive to the Nickelodeon Stores. The Leicester Square store will also include London-limited lines as well as product from a selection of global NVCP licensees.

Bursting with technology and interactive content, specially designed in-store zones will bring Nickelodeon's world famous characters and properties to life. A green slime staircase will take shoppers up to Bikini Bottom where they can come face to face with the world's favourite sponge in daily meet and greets with a life-size SpongeBob SquarePants costume character. Additionally, the store will offer a preschool zone, a New York City skyline graffiti-decorated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle area, and Union Jack-branded gifting, stationery, apparel, homeware and souvenirs. Recognising London as the world's most global city and Leicester Square as a top tourist attraction with projected tourist footfall set to hit 18 million in 2015, the store's 70-strong staff will provide capability in at least twelve different world languages. The store will open daily from 10am-9pm with extended operating hours in the evening at weekends.

To date, Nickelodeon and SRI have together launched five retail stores in Panama, Saudi Arabia (2014) and Honduras (Feb 2015) with more stores scheduled for late 2015/2016.
