Get In Your Element: Avatar Generations Launches on Mobile!

Today Crystal Dynamics Eidos Entertainment (CDE Entertainment), in association with Paramount Consumer Products and developer Navigator Games, launched the widely anticipated Avatar Generations, a turn-based squad RPG adventure for iOS and Android. Officially adapted from the beloved and iconic animated series from Nickelodeon, Avatar: The Last Airbender, future updates will expand the game into additional eras across the Avatar universe, including adventures based on The Rise of Kyoshi and The Legend of Korra. The free-to-play mobile game is available now on the App Store and Google Play Store. Players who download the app during the launch period can expect in-game welcome rewards, such as Aang, the hero of Avatar: The Last Airbender, to add to their squad, alongside his companion Appa.
In Avatar Generations, players assemble a team of iconic Avatar heroes and adversaries as they explore a dynamic map of the Four Nations. The game’s turn-based battles are immersive and strategic, with customizable formations and team-combos. The journey not only revisits the most memorable moments from the Avatar universe, but also offers new adventures in the Avatarworld. Players will relive the classic adventure of Aang and his friends, while battling powerful enemies, upgrading heroes, and mastering the elements to bring balance to the spiritual and physical world.
Avatar Generations closely follows the iconic plot points of the series, while meeting familiar faces along the way such as Katara, Sokka, Zuko, Toph, and even the likes of the Blue Spirit, Princess Yue, Kyoshi Warrior Suki, and much more. Each character has their own unique skills, so players can level up their own custom Team Avatar. Players can also equip supports to strengthen their team, with companions such as the beloved Momo and Appa.
Updates for the game will add new characters and companions, additional cosmetics and gear for customizing heroes, and more areas to explore across the Four Nations map.
Avatar Generations' free gameplay is a complete adventure, while in-app purchases will allow players to customize their game experience with exclusive items, cosmetics, and more. The game is available now for iPhone/iPad from the App Store and for Android devices from the Google Play Store. PAW Patrol's Rubble Bounds Onto The Toniebox
The PAW Patrol is on a roll! Following the introduction of a Chase, Sky and Marshall Tonie figures, the rescue pups are now joined by their pal Rubble!
Children’s audio system Tonies has announced the introduction of a PAW Patrol Rubble Tonie figure!
The Toniebox allows kids as young as three to listen to audio stories based on some of their favourite TV shows and books simply by popping a "Tonie" figure on it. The soft cube has a digital core which is intuitive and easy to use: the audio starts as soon as the “Tonie” audio character, such as Rubble are placed to the top of the “Toniebox” magnetic pad. No complicated controls or confusing displays. It couldn't be easier.
With the new Rubble Tonie, fans are invited to join English Bulldog Rubble for more action-packed adventures on the Toniebox. When trouble strikes Adventure Bay, search and rescue dogs Rubble and his pals Marshall, Chase, Rocky, Zuma and Skye make it their mission to save the day. Rubble on the double!
The new Rubble Tonie teaches Friendship, Teamwork and Bravery, and comes pre-loaded with five titles: The PAW Patrol Theme Song, Pups Get a Rubble, Pups Save Heady Humdinger, Pups Save a Super Pup, and Pups Party with Bats, with a runtime of approximately 50 minutes.

Showtime to Be Renamed ‘Paramount+ With Showtime’ as Part of Integration Across Linear, Streaming
Showtime is being integrated into Paramount+ across both linear and streaming platforms, resulting in a rebranding of the pay TV channel to “Paramount+ With Showtime.”
The updated offerings and Showtime name change will launch later in 2023, and only affect the premium tier of Paramount+ and the Showtime linear network in the U.S. Parent company Paramount Global sees the rebrand as a way to integrate streaming and linear content to the fullest extent within the company, at a time of much internal reorganization and macro-economic uncertainty across the industry.
“This new combined offering demonstrates how we can leverage our entire collection of content to drive deeper connections with consumers and greater value for our distribution partners,” Paramount CEO Bob Bakish said in a memo to staff Monday (Jan. 30). “This change will also drive stronger alignment across our domestic and international Paramount+ offerings, as international Paramount+ already includes Showtime content. And, very importantly, this integration will unlock operational efficiencies and financial benefits across our broader portfolio.”
President and CEO of Showtime and Paramount Media Networks Chris McCarthy, who recently expanded his oversight to Showtime following the exit of longtime exec David Nevins, added in his own memo to staff: “As a part of Paramount+, we can put more resources into building out the lanes that have made the SHOWTIME brand famous, as well as turning our hit shows into global hit franchises. To do this, we will divert investment away from areas that are underperforming and that account for less than 10% of our views. We have already begun conversations with our production partners about what content makes sense moving forward and which shows have franchise potential.”
It appears that some of these projects are being deemed as underperformers preemptively, as Variety reports that at least one completed series previously set to debut on Showtime is now being shopped to other platforms.
The folding of Showtime into Paramount+ ahead of the launch of “Paramount+ With Showtime” is expected to create cost synergies within all of Paramount Global, including operational efficiencies, with the hopes of increasing revenue as fears of a looming recession mount.
