Ariana Grande Releases Her Brand New Song, "Baby I"

The time is officially here!! Nickelodeon Star Ariana Grande, who stars as Cat Valentine in Nickelodeon's brand new original comedy series "Sam & Cat", today (Monday 22nd July 2013) officially released her brand new song "Baby I"!

"Baby I", which Ariana Grande's manager Scooter Braun has already dubbed his favorite song on Ariana Grande's debut album, Yours Truly (formally Daydreamin'), slated for release later this summer.

When MTV News spoke to Grande back in May, she noted that her debut would be inspired, in part, by Mariah Carey. "You know I love just like old R&B. I love the '90s, that whole vibe. I love Mariah Carey, of course, she's the goddess of all vocals," she said, adding, "I just can't wait for them to hear the rest of it because it just gets better. 'The Way' is a great song in my opinion but the rest are, I think, better. So it's cool."

In addition to playing stops on Justin Bieber's Believe tour, Grande will also kick off her own trek, The Listening Sessions, on Tuesday 13th August 2013 in Silver Spring, Maryland. She'll play nine cities in the U.S. throughout August, ending on Saturday 31st August 2013 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Listen to Ariana Grande's brand new single, "Baby I", below, download the song on iTunes, and let NickALive! know what you think of Ariana's latest song on Twitter, Tumblr, Google+ and/or Facebook!

"BABY I" LYRICS, via Ariana Grande on her official Tumblr blog:

Baby I got love for thee so deep inside of me I don’t know where to start

I love you more than anything

But the words cant even touch what’s in my heart

When I try to explain it I be sounding insane

The words don’t ever come out right

I get all tongue tied (and twisted)

I can’t explain what I’m feeling

So I say baby baby, baby

Baby I (ooh baby, oh baby, my baby)

Baby I (ooh baby, baby I)

All I’m tryna say is you’re my everything baby

But everytime I try to say it

Words they only complicate it

(baby, baby ohohohoh)

Baby I’m so down for you no matter what you

(Real talk) I’ll be around

See baby I been feelin’ you

Before I knew what feelings were about

When I try to explain it I be sounding insane

The words don’t ever come out right

I get all tongue tied (and twisted)

I can’t explain what I’m feeling

So I say baby baby, baby

Baby I (ooh baby, baby I)

All I’m tryna say is you’re my everything baby

But everytime I try to say it

Words they only complicate it

(baby, baby ohohohoh)

Staright up you got me (all in)

How could I not be I sure hope you know

If it’s even possible

I love you more

Than word Love can say it

It’s better not explaining that why I keep saying…

Baby I
