Nickelodeon To Change The Name Of "Bad Seeds"

Cartoonist C.H. Greenblatt has announced the Nick news in a post on his official Tumblr blog, Nerd Armada, that, due to trademark issues, "Bad Seeds" is no longer the show name of his upcoming brand-new Nickelodeon animated series, and that the show is currently untitled.

C.H. Greenblatt's all-new NickToon follows Harvey, a sweet and well-meaning bird, who makes two new best friends, Fee and Foo, the wildest imps in the forest. Although their friendship seems unlikely, their connection only grows as they push each other out of their comfort zones and into endless adventures. The show, which is created, written and directed by C.H. Greenblatt ("SpongeBob SquarePants", "Chowder"), is expected to premiere on Nickelodeon USA in 2015, however, it is currently unknown whether the shows trademark issues will delay the shows debut. Nickelodeon picked up the series for 26 episodes in September 2013.

It isn't uncommon for a show in development to change it's name. Nickelodeon's upcoming brand-new live-action series "Bella and the Bulldogs", due to premiere in January 2015, was originally titled "Bella and the Bullfrogs", "SpongeBob SquarePants" was originally intended to be called "SpongeBoy Ahoy!", but that name was already trademarked, and "iCarly" was very nearly named "iSam" and "iJosie.com", however, those domains were already registered. Had Dan Schneider been able to buy iSam.com, Carly and Sam would likely have been named Sam and Kira, respectively, which were the characters in the original pilot script.

Along with his "Bad Seeds" name change announcement, C.H. Greenblatt also shared a fantastic piece of artwork from his upcoming Nickelodeon show which he made for the back of the Nickelodeon business cards when production started. C.H. Greenblatt mentions that the shows style has evolved a bit since the art was created:
