NEW YORK–May 23, 2017– Nickelodeon today announced the global consumer products program for 14-year-old singer, dancer, performer and social media influencer JoJo Siwa, which includes the launch of products across multiple categories in the U.S. and markets including the UK, Australia and Canada. Inspired by Siwa’s positive messages and her love of rainbows and emojis, the robust line spans accessories, apparel, arts & craft, cosmetics, costumes, dance and athleisure wear, dolls, dress up and role play, electronics, games, home goods, party, publishing, a subscription box and stationery. The program also includes a brand-new partnership with Danskin that marks the brand’s first-ever co-branded collection for kids.

Select items in the JoJo Siwa consumer products line, including first to market retail exclusives and direct to retail programs at select retailers, are available in stores now in the U.S. and the full line will continue to roll out in the coming months. Siwa is being introduced to international markets with deals currently underway in the UK, Australia and Canada across a variety of categories including: accessories, apparel, toys, crafts, home décor and more.

Drawing upon Siwa’s dance background, Nickelodeon’s new partnership with Danskin will introduce the first-ever kids’ co-branded dance, athleisure and accessories collection for the brand. The powerhouse collaboration under JoJo’s namesake launches spring 2018 and will feature traditional dance wear (leotards, tights, dance skirts, tutus and legwarmers), alongside a colorful collection of athleisure wear (fashion tops, sweatshirts, hoodies, leggings, skorts, joggers, sportsbras, biketards and crop tops) and accessories (dance bags, backpacks, totes, purses and headwear).

Siwa’s signature bows from H.E.R. Accessories continue to gain popularity as distribution expands to multiple retail channels.


Additionally, Just Play is introducing a JoJo Siwa fashion doll this year that features Siwa’s hit single “Boomerang” which will be available exclusively at Walmart in July, followed by other retailers beginning Oct. 1. On air, Siwa can next be seen in Nickelodeon’s Sizzling Summer Camp Special, premiering Sunday, June 4, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT). This variety special, interspersed with comedy sketches and musical numbers, follows fan-favorite Nickelodeon stars as they celebrate summer at a sleepaway camp. Then, fans will get a peek into Siwa’s exciting world in the upcoming half-hour docu-style special, JoJo Siwa: My World. The special will follow Siwa as she recounts all of the moments of her life that brought her to her biggest moment ever – a concert performance for her fans at Mall of America and officially becoming a Nickelodeon star. Currently in production, the special is premiering Saturday, Aug. 12, at 8 p.m. (ET). Blaze and the Monster Machines take a ride on the wild side in all-new "Wild Wheels" animal-themed specials featuring guest voice appearances by internationally renowned multi-platinum recording artist and acclaimed actor, Billy Ray Cyrus and Grammy-nominated and platinum-selling singer-songwriter, Kelsea Ballerini. The first special, "Animal Island," featuring Cyrus as Lazard, a greedy lizard-truck, premieres Monday, May 29, at 12pm (ET/PT), followed by "Toucan Do It!" featuring Ballerini as Tooks, an athletic toucan-truck, on Wednesday, May 31, at 12pm (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum selling musician, Darius Rucker will also voice a character named Thunderwing, a tough-talking falcon-truck, in an upcoming "Wild Wheels" episode premiering later this year. The "Wild Wheels" specials follow Blaze and friends as they transform into animal-trucks and meet new friends on Animal Island, an incredible place where everyone is a talking monster truck animal. In "Animal Island," Blaze and Stripes are sailing the open sea when they discover Animal Island. While ashore, they make new friends and marvel at the animals' amazing powers but a greedy lizard-truck named Lazard (Cyrus) wants those powers all for himself and decides to steal them using a special machine. Then, in "Toucan Do It!," Blaze, Starla and Darington visit Animal Stadium where they are set to take on a team of animal opponents in a game of Jungle Ball. When the friends discover they are down a teammate, Blaze recruits an athletic toucan-truck named Tooks (Ballerini) to join their team. When the ball accidentally flies far from the stadium, Tooks boldly flies to get it but her feathery tail gets trapped under a rock. Now, it's up to Blaze, Starla, and Darington to transform into animals to rescue their new friend.






Thunderwing

In the toy aisle, Nickelodeon and Fisher-Price, a subsidiary of Mattel Inc., will launch an all-new toy line inspired by the "Wild Wheels" specials this fall. Available at all major retailers, the complete line will include die-cast vehicles, talking and super stunt vehicles, and a track set that brings the fun and dynamic characters from the show to life.

In Blaze and the Monster Machines, the amazing monster truck Blaze and his eight-year-old driver AJ have adventures that explore the physics of how things move; tackle problems through scientific inquiry and mathematics; and discover the parts needed to make everyday technologies work. Nickelodeon Acquires International Broadcast Rights For "The Day Henry Met" Seasons Three And Four

Nickelodeon has picked up the international broadcast rights to seasons three and four of the Irish-produced award-winning animated preschool The Day Henry Met! Additionally, Nickelodeon International has renewed it's existing rights to seasons one and two from the show's distributors.


Nickelodeon acquired the international broadcast rights to seasons one and two of The Day Henry Met in July 2016, following successful debuts on Nick Jr. UK & Ireland and Nick Jr. Australia & New Zealand. The first two seasons of The Day Henry Met currently airs on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels across six continents, including the UK and Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, Scandinavia (Sweden, Denmark and Norway), Iceland, Benelux (Netherlands and Belgium), Finland, Iceland, Germany, Switzerland & Austria (GSA), Greece, Italy, Portugal, Central & Eastern Europe, Russia, Israel, Africa, South East Asia and Asia Pacific, India, the Middle East and Latin America.

BURBANK, Calif.--May 23, 2017--Nickelodeon today announced that SpongeBob SquarePants, the number-one animated show for kids 2-11 and kids 6-11, has been greenlit for season 12. The 26-episode pick up will further the nautical adventures of SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, Plankton and Squidward. Season 12 is scheduled to premiere in 2019, the series’ 20th anniversary year.

The pickup comes on the heels of the recent announcement for a third SpongeBob SquarePants theatrical from Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies, also slated for 2019.


SpongeBob SquarePants, the most-watched animated program with kids for more than 15 consecutive years, will debut season 11 later this summer, and feature the return of fan favorite characters including: the mischievous pencil-drawing Doodle Bob; SpongeBob’s friend and creation Bubble Buddy; the super villain Man Ray; and Cave SpongeBob, who made his debut in season one.

SpongeBob SquarePants is voiced by veteran cast members: Tom Kenny as SpongeBob SquarePants, an incurably optimistic sea sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea; Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick Star, SpongeBob's silly best friend; Roger Bumpass as Squidward, an aloof cashier of The Krusty Krab and SpongeBob’s neighbor; Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob's boss and greedy owner of The Krusty Krab; Carolyn Lawrence as Sandy Cheeks, Bikini Bottom's only resident rodent aquanaut and scientist; and Mr. Lawrence as Plankton, owner of the Chum Bucket and chief rival of Mr. Krabs.

Nickelodeon USA will start to premiere and show the networks brand-new animated preschool series Sunny Day on Monday 21st August 2017!


Sunny Day centers Sunny, a 10-year-old master hairstylist and entrepreneur who uses creative problem-solving to tackle any dilemma that arises in her seaside town of Friendly Falls. The characters in the series celebrate individuality and self-expression, while the show's social-emotional curriculum highlights leadership, innovative thinking and teamwork. Sunny Day is developed and produced by Silvergate Media (Peter Rabbit).

Produced by Silvergate Media (Peter Rabbit), Nickelodeon has picked up the series for 40 episodes (two seasons of twenty 22-minute episodes).

of Rusty Rivets and Nella the Princess Knight Greenlit as Part of Nick’s Biggest Preschool Content Pipeline Ever

NEW YORKMay 23, 2017Nickelodeon has renewed some of the biggest hits in preschool TV: PAW Patrol, Shimmer and Shine, Rusty Rivets and Nella the Princess Knight. The renewals–a fifth season of PAW Patrol, a fourth season of Shimmer and Shine and second seasons of Rusty Rivets and Nella the Princess Knight–are part of the network’s largest preschool content pipeline ever of returning hit shows and new series for the 2017-2018 season.

Nickelodeon is currently home to four of the top five preschool shows on all TV (12/26/16-04/30/17), led by PAW Patrol at number one. Year to date, Nick also ranks as the number-one basic cable network for Kids 2-5–a leading position it has held for the last three years–Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11.


In the fifth season of PAW Patrol (26 half-hour episodes, produced by Spin Master Entertainment), the heroic pack of pups–Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky, Zuma, Everest and Tracker–will take to the high seas for Sea Patrol adventures where they’ll meet a scallywag of a pirate and his dachshund pup pal. PAW Patrol features a curriculum that focuses on citizenship, social skills and problem solving.


Season four of Shimmer and Shine (20 half-hour episodes) will follow twin genies-in-training, Shimmer and Shine, as they travel up in the sky and far above the clouds–farther than even a magic carpet can reach–to the wild, exciting area of their genie world known as Zahramay Skies. While there, Shimmer and Shine will encounter sky genies, Zahra-corns, stardust magic, flying dragons and adorable pets with wings in all-new magical adventures. Shimmer and Shine features a social-emotional curriculum highlighting the importance of teamwork, resilience and overcoming obstacles.


In the second season of Rusty Rivets (26 half-hour episodes, produced by Spin Master Entertainment), Rusty makes his coolest invention yet, the Mobile Rivet Lab (MRL), which will take his creativity and imagination on the road to new exciting locations. When Rusty, Ruby, Botasaur and the Bits find themselves on the edge of steeper cliffs and in deeper caves, they’ll need to build their way out with the help of some new creatures. Inspired by the DIY culture of the maker movement, Rusty Rivets helps preschoolers gain confidence and fuel their creativity with a focus on inventing, creating and problem solving.


Season two of Nella the Princess Knight (20 half-hour episodes) will bring even bigger and bolder adventures to Princess Nella’s kingdom of Castlehaven and delve deeper into her royal lineage. Nella will lead a growing band of friends dedicated to standing up for what’s right, vanquishing enemies by turning foes into friends, challenging expectations and breaking down barriers. She also continues to learn the secrets of her powerful knightly tools, including the origin of her enchanted heart pendant. Nella the Princess Knight features a social-emotional curriculum promoting self-confidence, inclusiveness and compassion for others.
