Nickelodeon Launches The Nick App In Latin America

The Nick App features a entirely new immersive Spanish-language digital experience that allows NickHeads to interact with their favorite Nickelodeon characters in an innovative and creative environment, as well as serving as a attractive new alternative for brands and partners to connect with the Nickelodeon audience. The Nick App is currently available to download for free for the Apple iPad and Apple iPhone from the iOS App Store with a Android version to be released during June 2014.

To celebrate the Latin American debut of Nickelodeon's popular app, the Nick App features exclusive content from Mattel's successful global franchise "Ever After High". Mattel's "Ever After High" franchise includes a doll line and a animated series which currently airs on Nickelodeon Latin America. "Ever After High" features the enchanting teenage descendants of the world's most celebrated fairytale characters as they confront the destiny set forth by their story at high school and either embrace it or reject it. Within the App Nick, users in all Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America can find complete episodes, photos, stories and games about the children of Princes, Princesses and the most notorious villains attending High School in "Ever After High".

The Nick App will be updated with new content daily and children can select their favorite content for easy access to it whenever they want. In addition, the Nick App will serve as a incubator for new talent, and new content, including animation and live-action, trailers and exclusive clips that will surely attract more views and moments that kids will want to share in the region will be published. In a move expanding its global reach across platforms, Nickelodeon has launched its popular Nick App in Latin America as an immersive, Spanish-language interactive experience.

Available for kids ages six to 11, and updated on a daily basis, the free app features on-demand access to more than 1,000 pieces of exclusive Nick-themed content including short-form videos, behind-the-scenes clips, trailers, kids polls, games, music, the popular Do Not Touch button, and new original animated and live-action content.

Users can now access the app via the Apple App Store for iPad and iPhone devices in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, The Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.
