Nickelodeon Brazil and Foroni to Launch Nickelodeon Slime Stationary Range

Nickelodeon Brazil (Brasil) is partnering with Foroni to launch a stationary range inspired by Nickelodeon's iconic slime! The Nickelodeon Slime stationary line will span workbooks and pencil cases, including scented cases that smell of slime, and launch at retail as part of Foroni's Back to School 2020 range.


The Nickelodeon Slime stationary range joins Foroni's stationary lines inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants (Bob Esponja) and PAW Patrol (Patrulha Canina), and follows Nickelodeon Brasil launching a slime-inspired party ware line with Festcolor and slime ice cream line with Kibon.

ALL ABOARD! THE SANTA CLAUS EXPRESS TO DEPART FROM THE HUNGARIAN RAILWAY HISTORY PARK ONCE AGAIN


This year, Nickelodeon Hungary (Magyarország) and the Hungarian Railway History Park will jointly organize the almost 20-year-old event, the Santa Claus Express! This December, the steam locomotive decorated with Christmas ornaments will depart once again from the Nyugati Railway station, and arrive at the Railway Museum, which offers one of the most extraordinary Santa Claus programs for families.

The Santa Claus Express has become one of the most exciting family programs in Hungary not just because of its popularity for nearly two decades, but for its unique accomplishments too. Year after year, the event has been gaining popularity, and this year it will come together thanks to the Railway Museum with support from the Nickelodeon channel.

Together, they will create a magical fairy tale atmosphere for kids, offering a one-of-a-kind journey, with great atmosphere, a great concert and, of course, the authentic Santa Claus experience! This year the event will run from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th of December 2019.

It is already a tradition that the train departs from the Nyugati Railway station and its destination is the Railway Museum, where Ferenc Kőhalmi's magical interactive show awaits the children, and, of course, the inevitable elves of Santa Claus!

The atmosphere is, of course, crowned by Santa's visit, who will give beautifully wrapped packages for the children. One of the most prominent and versatile children's shows of the year has a lot of interactive and handicraft programs, as well as wonderful surprises.

This Year's novelty is that, during the event, the likewise popular garden rail will be operational throughout the event! Museum guests can freely sit and enjoy a ride in the beautiful winter scenery.


„On every Santa Claus event, all the adults relive their childhood, get into the holiday spirit, and feel the happiness of play as well. I am happy that we can bring the Santa Claus Express to life every year, because the sight of the smiling, happy families inspire us all. I am confident, that this year’s program will also be popular among both children, and adults!” – said Norbert Schvéd, the director of the Railway Museum.

Idén a Nickelodeon és a Vasúttörténeti Park közösen jegyzi majd a már közel 20 éves eseményt, a Mikulás Expresszt! A karácsonyi díszekbe öltözött gőzös idén decemberben is végig pöfög a Nyugati pályaudvart és a Vasúttörténeti Parkot összekötő útvonalon, ebben az évben is az egyik legkülönlegesebb Mikulás programot ígérve a családoknak.

A Mikulás Expressz nem csupán a közel két évtizedes töretlen népszerűsége, de egyedi megvalósítása miatt is vált az egyik legizgalmasabb családi programmá hazánkban. Évről évre egyre népszerűbb a program, amelyet idén a Nickelodeon csatornával közösen valósít meg a Vasúttörténeti Park.

Valódi mesevilágot varázsolnak a gyerekek számára, ráadásul egy programon belül egyszerre nyújtja az utazás élvezetét, egy remek koncert hangulatát és persze az autentikus Mikulás – élményt! Idén az esemény december 6-tól 8-ig, péntektől vasárnapig tart majd.

A hangulatot természetesen maga a Mikulás látogatása koronázza meg, aki szebbnél-szebb csomagokat oszt majd ki a gyerekeknek. Az év egyik legkiemelkedőbb, és legsokoldalúbb gyermekműsora rengeteg interaktív és kézműves programot tartogat, amelyek mellett a meglepetések sem maradhatnak el.

Idei újdonság, hogy a rendezvény ideje alatt a méltán népszerű kerti vasút is üzemelni fog, sőt a vendégek ingyenesen ülhetnek fel rá és zötyöghetnek egy kört a szép téli tájban gyönyörködve.

Blue Zoo Opens New 2D Animation Studio in London; Commences Production on 'Pony'

Blue Zoo has announced the exciting news that the UK-based animation studio are opening a brand-new dedicated 2d animation studio to complement its existing cg animation studio, which has produced on-air presentation for Nick Jr. UK & Ireland, as well as series like Nick Jr.'s Digby Dragon and Olive the Ostrich, and shows such as Miffy’s Adventures Big and Small and Q Pootle 5.

The studio will be located across the street from Blue Zoo’s existing central London head office. Blue Zoo plans to have 60 people working in its 2d department. Combined with the current headcount of just under 200 people at its cg studio, this expansion makes Blue Zoo one of the largest independent studios operating in the U.K.

The studio aims to capitalize on the growing demand from broadcasters for a 2d technique, according to Blue Zoo co-founder Adam Shaw. “2D animation is making a big comeback and we’re seeing a greater demand for it more than ever, particularly for older kids.”

The division’s first project will be the previously announced 2d half-hour buddy comedy series Pony aimed at 8-10 year olds. Conceived by super-talent Ant Blades, the series follows the story of an average girl, Annie, her (almost) average family and her excitable, loveable pony who comes to live with them in their city apartment. Ant will be directing the 20 half-hour episodes, and the characters and stories are already coming to life in his unmistakable and charming animation style. Pony is based off a short of the same name from Nickelodeon’s 2015 International Animated Shorts Program.

“BZ is a great home for Annie and Pony and it’s incredibly exciting to see the show develop. There’s such a wealth of enthusiasm and talent surrounding the project it can only be fantastic,” said Ant Blades, the creator of Pony.

The studio will use a Toon Boom Harmony pipeline, and will focus on episodic service work as well as building its own IP catalog. Blue Zoo also hints that it would like to eventually combine its 2d and 3d pipelines to create hybrid shows.

The new 2d studio will start full operation in 2019, and there are loads of great roles up for grabs at different levels. Details of all opportunities can be found on Blue Zoo's jobs website at jobs.blue-zoo.co.uk.

Nickelodeon SlimeFest Germany 2019 a Slime-Tastic Success

Berlin - More music, more stars, more slime: Nickelodeon Germany's (Deutschland) legendary Nickelodeon SlimeFest returned to Germany for a second year! Stars rocked the SlimeFest stage over three days at Movie Park Germany, home of Nickland, where they sang, danced, rapped, and of course, got slimed, providing kids with lots of fun and entertainment!


"I had a lot of fun celebrating with the kids again and, of course, slimming them all," said Pietro Lombardi, who was on the SlimeFest stage for the second time. Pietro, die Lochis and Mike Singer surprised their fans with a very special slime guitar performance. In the end every child was completely slimed. While the kids in the Slime-Area were slimed by their favorite stars, the parents could party from the stands.

Nickelodeon SlimeFest 2019's star-studded line-up left no wish unfulfilled: In addition to the well-known headliners, kids were entertained by Iggi Kelly, Enyadres, Daniele Negroni and more, who bathed in the green slime with them. In addition to local acts, international stars caused quite a stir: Bars & Melody and Isac Elliot melted girls' hearts and Nickelodeon star Kira Kosarin (The Thundermans) made her Nickelodeon SlimeFest Germany debut.

"It has been a super exciting three days and I'm mega happy to host this amazing project to make my contribution to the success of the SlimeFest," said FARGO, who gives the title track to the current season's Nickelodeon series Spotlight with "Gutes Gefühl". Together with Mike Leon, who occupies one of the main roles in the series, he led SlimeFest 2019. To celebrate the fourth season of Spotlight (currently airing daily at 19:50 Uhr on Nick), the show's cast made a special appearance at the beginning to distribute slime showers.

Fans who couldn't made the show don't have to be sad. Nickelodeon filmed the entire slime show, and viewers will soon be able to watch the concert in 360-degree VR.
