Friends come in all shapes and sizes. Based on the books by best selling author Sue Hendra, "Wanda and the Alien" is a pre-school animated series about wonder and unconditional friendship. After a few moments of hesitation, they are now the best friends in the universe.

The Alien has a unique gift that makes him very special: he can freeze a moment in time so that you can see the magical details in it from different points of view. Even a splash in the water can become special if you can catch it and wear it like a crown! Combining an enchanting story with the best 2D animation, every episode sees the two characters exploring the beauty and the wonders of Wanda's charming forest and the Alien's incredible and funny planet, while highlighting the importance of values such as friendship, trust and kindness. Follow Wanda and the little Alien as they discover things out of their worlds!

"Wanda and the Alien" (52 x 10 minutes) is co-produced by UK-based Random House and Komixx Entertainment.

Nickelodeon acquired the rights to Random House Children's Screen Entertainment's "Wanda and the Alien" under a global deal (excluding the US) with London-based distributor CAKE in 2013 that will see the new animated preschool series head to more than 70 Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels around the world (Nickelodeon International). The Nickelodeon deal marks the first key international agreement for "Wanda and the Alien" and a large step for Random House's first book-to-screen venture.

Nickelodeon Releases Sneak Peek Of First Episode Of "The Legend of Korra" Book Four

Following Nickelodeon's special "Korra Nation" Tumblr challenge to Korra fans yesterday and to celebrate Nickelodeon USA starting to premiere "The Legend of Korra" Book Four, the fourth and final season of Nickelodeon's hit original animated series (Nicktoon), titled "Balance", online on nick.com and on the networks Emmy Award-winning Nick App from Friday 3rd October 2014, Nick USA has released a brand-new exclusive video featuring a fantastic first-look at the first episode from "The Legend of Korra - Book 4: Balance", which you can watch in the online streaming video clips below!

SPOILER ALERT!!

Nick's sneak-peek at the first new episode from "The Legend of Korra - Book Four: Balance" demonstrates that Korra's recovery from the near-fatal assault of the Red Lotus may be more difficult than anyone anticipated.

In the new sneak peek, Korra – still wheelchair-bound – is returning home to the Southern Water Tribe for a few weeks to heal. Bolin is thrilled that she is leaving and can be his pen pal; Asami offers to go with Korra, but Korra needs some time alone.

Tenzin assures Korra that he and the airbenders have the whole "world peace" thing completely under control, which clearly only confirms her fears of no longer being needed...

Once back in the Southern Water Tribe, Korra is finding it hard to sleep, and wakes from a violent nightmare of nearly dying at Zaheer's hands. Clearly, the Avatar has a few issues she will need to work through.

The clip from "The Legend of Korra" season 4, episode 1 also suggests that something Korra experiences will inspire her to make a change. One of the first images of Korra from the new season, below, shows the Avatar standing, with shorter hair and a brutal look in her eyes – in other words, she looks tough, but not super happy.

Though all we have at this point is speculation, we have to imagine that Korra's internal demons – her feelings of weakness and uselessness, the thought that the world no longer needs her – will manifest in a major way in "The Legend of Korra" season 4. Things may look up for Korra, but she may have a serious struggle before then. After all, this final book is called "Balance" – and what is balance, if not a struggle?
