Vince Waller Reveals Details About Third "SpongeBob SquarePants" Movie And Upcoming Brand-New Episodes

Vince Waller, the Creative Director on "SpongeBob SquarePants", has revealed a few bits of Sponge-Tastic information about Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures upcoming third brand-new "SpongeBob SquarePants" movie in Tweets on his official Twitter profile page, @VincentWaller72!:

- Currently in pre-production, Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures plan to release 'SpongeBob Movie 3' during 2017/2018;

- The movie will feature a mainly separate production crew than that of the series;

- "SpongeBob SquarePants" producer Paul Tibbitt will be the director of the third "SpongeBob SquarePants" movie;

- "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water" art director Ruben Hickman and producers Cale Boyter, Mary Parent and Craig Sost will be working on the third brand-new "SpongeBob SquarePants" movie;

- Like "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water", the third "SpongeBob" movie will feature a mix of 2D animation and CGI;

- Additionally, Vince has also shared a few bits of news about upcoming brand-new episodes of "SpongeBob SquarePants"!:

- Nickelodeon WON'T be replacing any of the voice actors or Stephen Hillenburg on the TV series in 2016;

- Work on "SpongeBob SquarePants" season nine will end in December 2015, with work on season 10 also starting in December 2015;

- Some of the upcoming brand-new episodes of "SpongeBob SquarePants" will feature scripts written by Kazimieras G. "Kaz" Prapuolenis;

- "Krabs Army" and "SpaceBob InvaderPants" are real titles of planned "SpongeBob SquarePants" episodes, however, these episodes may never come to fruition;

- Patchy the Pirate is expected to appear in at least one upcoming season nine episode of "SpongeBob SquarePants";

- Nickelodeon is planning to remake the "SpongeBob SquarePants" opening titles in 16:9 HD to match each of the new episodes. It is expected that Nick will reanimate the opening titles and reshoot the live-action Island for the remake;

- Upcoming brand-new "SpongeBob SquarePants" episode "The Executive Treatment" is written by Jack Pendarvis, and the upcoming all-new episode "Squid Plus One" is written by Kyle McCulloch and Jack Pendarvis;

- In "Executive Treatment", Patrick is mistaken for a business man.

Nickelodeon USA are planning to premiere and show the brand-new "SpongeBob SquarePants" episode "The Executive Treatment"/"Squid Plus One" on Wednesday 9th September 2015!
