LOS ANGELES, June 24, 2025 -- This July, My Gym Children's Fitness Centers are getting a colorful, music-filled makeover as part of a special global celebration of the milestone 25^th anniversary of Nickelodeon's beloved bilingual explorer, Dora. Families across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia will be treated to an exclusive, immersive experience inside their local My Gym locations, featuring music, movement, and fun inspired by Dora, as part of "The Great Dora Fiesta," an anniversary initiative featuring an array of brand-new multiplatform content and experiences for kids and families.

My Gym and Nickelodeon have teamed up to celebrate 25 years of everyone’s favorite explorer, Dora! Music, movement, and fantastical Dora-themed activities will be featured in My Gyms worldwide—plus access to stream the new album and explore Dora’s latest adventures!

From July 1–31, 2025, the Dora activation will bring fan-favorite characters like Dora,  Boots, and Diego, to life through themed games, dances, curriculum integrations, wall art, and coloring activities. Participating families will also receive a link to stream The Great Dora Fiesta (25th Anniversary Tribute Album), a music collection showcasing popular classics from the series and original songs that embrace Dora's spirit--offering a full-circle experience that blends imaginative play with home listening.

Grammy^® Award-winning, multiplatinum global superstar Tyla is set to take the Slime-tastic stage as host of the biggest party this summer – the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2025. Airing on Wednesday 25 June at 17:00 CAT on Nickelodeon Africa (channel 305 on DStv) from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., the KCAs will celebrate fans’ favorites from across the worlds of film, television, music, sports and more.

Today’s news also included this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards nominees, with host Tyla receiving nominations in the Favorite Global Music Star and Favorite Music Collaboration categories.

First-time nominees include Gracie Abrams, Zach Bryan, Jordan Chiles, Frankie Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Doechii, Keith Lee, Chappell Roan, Shaboozey, Shohei Ohtani, Florence Pugh, among others. Leading the pack with four nods each are Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar, followed by Jack Black, Dwayne Johnson, Selena Gomez and Jelly Roll, with three nominations each. Musical performances will be announced later.

The Kids’ Choice Awards broadcast continues to put kids and families in control at the biggest party of the summer. Ng'khaleli Dior hitmaker bags big gig

AMAPIANO star Zee Nxumalo is stepping into the spotlight as the official host of the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards (KCA) 2025 Pre-Show.

The show will air on NickToons (DStv channel 308) on 25 June. The pre-show, brought to you by Nedbank, will lead directly into the main awards show hosted by international music sensation Tyla.

The 22-year-old Zee is known for her vibrant energy and rising influence in the local music scene. Zee brings her signature style to the KCA stage after dropping a catchy amapiano remix of the iconic SpongeBob SquarePants theme song.

The remix, bursting with local flair, has quickly become a fan favourite and is expected to be a major moment during the awards festivities.

"I'm so honoured to be part of the KCAs this year. Hosting the pre-show and reimagining the SpongeBob theme song in amapiano has been such a fun experience. I can't wait for everyone to see what we've got in store!" said the Ng'khaleli Dior hitmaker.

Zee's involvement reflects a larger movement by Nickelodeon Africa and Nedbank to celebrate youth culture, spotlight local talent, and offer fun, creative experiences for kids across the continent.

This year's Kids' Choice Awards promises wild performances, surprise celebrity appearances, and the signature green slime.

Nickelodeon & Funko Announce SDCC 2025 Exclusive POP! Figures Based On Classic Episodes Of ‘SpongeBob,’ ‘Danny Phantom’ & ‘Fairly OddParents’

Nickelodeon and Funko are tapping into some serious millennial nostalgia for classic animated programming with three new POP! figures based on iconic episodes of Danny Phantom, The Fairly OddParents, and SpongeBob SquarePants.

Forbes Entertainment has unveiled a first look at all three items, which will be available to those attending this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. If you plan to be at the California-based con and want to get your hands on this limited merch, just be sure to get there bright and early — the Funko section of the convention floor never fails to attract large crowds.

Each SDCC '25 exclusive makes use of Funko’s “new authentication packaging,” the company says. “Using micro-optic technology that cannot be duplicated or replicated, these stickers contain unique item codes that can be officially verified through Octane5.”

Of course, fans of Butch Hartman’s second Nickelodeon series will recognize this prom-themed version of Sam from Season 1, Episode 2 — “Parental Bonding” — which laid the groundwork for Sam’s romance with Danny. The two finally acted on their feelings and officially became a couple in the series finale: “Phantom Planet.”

It looks like he could really use a break! Give this exclusive POP! Premium SpongeBob Cleaning a hand in your POP! Animation collection. Reunite him with all his Bikini Bottom friends when you welcome him to your SpongeBob SquarePants lineup. Vinyl figure is approximately 5.6 in (14.2 cm) tall.

This many-armed iteration of Bikini Bottom’s happy-go-lucky fry cook is plucked straight from the Season 3 episode “Rock-a-Bye Bivalve,” in which SpongeBob and Patrick become adoptive parents to an abandoned baby scallop they dub “Junior.” The former agrees to take care of things on the household front while Patrick goes to “work” every day. Pretty ironic, considering SpongeBob has a full-time gig at the Krusty Krab. In any case, SpongeBob becomes more and more ragged as the days go by and Patrick fails to share the parental load. As we soon learn, the dim-witted starfish’s idea of a hard day’s work is watching TV all day under his rock.

Cleaning SpongeBob has the production code of 2001.

Starring Emmy Award-winning culinary social media sensation Tiny Chef, in each episode of The Tiny Chef Show, Chef welcomes a variety of celebrity guests to talk food, friendship and more. Each episode features a voice announcer and showcases different ingredients, foods and plant-based dishes by Chef with the help from his friends: Olly, a practical and excitable robot who works closely with Chef assisting in the preparation of each episode's dish; Ruby, Chef's beloved caterpillar pet, friend and confidant with a boundless appetite; Henry, a loyal and loving snail who moves slowly around the stump and reveals Chef's Dish of the Day; and Stump Band, the show's very own house band consisting of a fork, spatula and spoon. The series features the voices of Matt Hutchinson as Chef, Odessa A'Zion as Olly & Ruby, and Dee Bradley Baker as Henry.

Season one featured special celebrity and influencer guest stars Kristen Bell, Sky & Ocean Brown, Tabitha Brown, Josh Dela Cruz, Josh Gad, Liza Koshy, RZA, That Girl Lay Lay and Keith L. The Tiny Chef Show originally premiered on Nickelodeon in the U.S. on Friday, September 9, 2022, and ran for 41 episodes across three seasons, with the series finale airing on Thursday, March 6 on the Nick Jr. channel.

The Tiny Chef Show is executive produced by Imagine Entertainment Executive Chairmen Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, Imagine Kids+Family President Stephanie Sperber, as well as Kristen Bell, Morgan Sackett, and Tiny Chef creators Rachel Larsen, Adam Reid and cinematographer Ozlem Akturk for Tiny Chef Productions. Paramount to Launch Nickelodeon Toon In France on July 15

Paramount Global is set to launch a NickToons channel in France on Tuesday 15th July 2025!

Nicktoons France will be a localised version of Nickelodeon's Nicktoons channel, which brings viewers the most popular animated series and exclusive new animated shows produced by Nickelodeon, as well as acquired animated content.

NickToons will broadcast 24/7 and is a sub-feed of Nickelodeon's Nicktoons Global pan-regional feed, with a localised French language track. The channel, also known as Nicktoons France, will be operated by Paramount Networks Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia (EMEAA). The channel will launch with the broadcast of the Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Légendes des Tortues Ninja episode "Splinter et April affontent un poisson rouge" ("Splinter and April Fight a Goldfish").

NickToons is set to replace Nickelodeon Teen (previously Nickelodeon 4Teen), Nickelodeon France's localised TeenNick channel for teens and tweens, which will closedown after 10 years of service at the end of the broadcast day on Monday 14th July 2025.

Nickelodeon channels in France can't abbreviate "Nickelodeon" to "Nick" due to domestic language policies, along with "Nick" sounding similar to a French profanity.

Update (25/6): Surprisingly, according to Nicktoons' France's launch promos, the channel will be titled Nicktoons instead of the previously revealed channel name, Nickelodeon Toon. The channel's launch trailers can be found below:

The Smurfs have teamed up with ActNow and UNICEF to call on all of us to be champions for children’s rights.

Ready to raise your voice and take action for fairness, respect, and every child’s right to speak up and be heard? The Smurfs, together with UN’s ActNow initiative and UNICEF, are here to help children, parents, caregivers, and communities turn children’s rights into reality and create a better world for all.

Join forces with the Smurfs, ActNow initiative and UNICEF in a global digital social impact campaign that encourages people, especially children, to speak up, empower themselves and others, and help create a blueprint for a better world!

The campaign launches with a talent-driven Public Service Announcement (PSA video), starring the Smurfs characters and the celebrated actors who voice them, including Rihanna (Smurfette), Billie Lourd (Worry Smurf), Amy Sedaris (Jaunty) and Hannah Waddingham (Jezebeth).

The PSA premiered at Nickelodeon’s Kids' Choice Awards 2025 on Saturday, June 21st, and will be shown in Times Square and posted across BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Paramount+, Pluto TV, Network 10 (Australia), Chilevisión and Telefe (Latin America) on their broadcast, streaming and social channels.

The PSA has been localized with subtitles in the following languages: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Kiswahili, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian and Spanish.
