ABOUT GHOSTS:
GHOSTS is a single-camera comedy about Samantha and Jay, a cheerful freelance journalist and up-and-coming chef from the city, respectively, who threw both caution and money to the wind when they decided to convert Woodstone Mansion, which Sam inherited, into a bed & breakfast – only to find it was inhabited by the many spirits of deceased residents who now call it home. The departed souls are a close-knit, eclectic group that includes a saucy Prohibition-era lounge singer (Danielle Pinnock); a pompous 18th-century militiaman (Brandon Scott Jones); a ‘60s hippie fond of hallucinogens (Sheila Carrasco); an overly upbeat ‘80s scout troop leader (Richie Moriarty); a cod-obsessed Viking explorer from 1009 (Devon Chandler Long); a slick ‘90s finance bro (Asher Grodman); a sarcastic and witty native from the 16th-century (Román Zaragoza); and a society woman and wife of a 19th-century robber baron who is Sam’s ancestor (Rebecca Wisocky), to name a few. The opening of the B&B has been a source of intrigue, anxiety and curiosity among the spirits, but they will gladly put up with the commotion as long as they can continue to interact with a living inhabitant.

The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish will make its international debut on Netflix in mid-November, with the series also making its streaming debut on Netflix in the U.S. on Thursday, November 14.
In regions outside the U.S., where the series has not aired yet, The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish will be a Netflix Original. In the U.S., where the show has already aired on Nickelodeon, the series will continue to carry Nickelodeon branding.
The news was first reported by our friends over at What's on Netflix.
In The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish, ten-year-old Hazel Wells has just moved to the big city of Dimmadelphia because of her dad’s new job. On top of being in an unfamiliar environment, it’s the first time she’s been without her brother, Antony, who’s just left for college, leaving her lonely and unsure of herself. All that changes when the pink-and-green-haired neighbors next door reveal that they are no ordinary neighbors…they’re Cosmo and Wanda, Fairy Godparents! And they’re coming out of retirement to make all of Hazel’s wishes come true. As well as new characters, the series brings back many from the original series, including Vicky, Mr. Crocker, CJ, and Poof, who now goes by the name of Peri. The series also features many Easter eggs calling back to the original show.
The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish stars Ashleigh Crystal Hairston (Tiny Toons Looniversity, Craig of the Creek) as the voice of Hazel Wells, joining The Fairly OddParents alums Daran Norris (The Loud House, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder) as the voice of Cosmo, and Susanne Blakeslee (The Loud House, Amphibia) as the voice of Wanda.
The CG-animated series, which features a brand new art style for the franchise, is produced by Nickelodeon Animation in Burbank and is co-executive produced by David Stone (Teen Titans Go!), Lindsay Katai (Infinity Train), Ashleigh Crystal Hairston, and Daniel Abramovici (The Peanuts Movie). Fred Seibert (Adventure Time) and Butch Hartman (The Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom) serve as Executive Producers. Production is overseen by Claudia Spinelli, Senior Vice President, TV Series Animation, Nickelodeon, and Kelley Gardner, Vice President, Current Series, Animation, Nickelodeon. The series is overseen by Executive in Charge, Neil Wade.
Produced by Nickelodeon Animation, the series premiered on Nickelodeon in the U.S. on Monday, May 20, with the season one finale airing on August 8.
Nickelodeon
There’s currently no word on whether the show is set to get a second season. The show was given an upfront order of 20 episodes (36 segments), with all of those making up season 1 of the show now aired. It’s likely going to be the case that Netflix viewership plus Nickelodeon viewership goes into making a renewal decision.
The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish, a soundtrack featuring music from the series from Republic Records: Kids & Family, is available to stream on music platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music, and available to purchase on iTunes.
Nickelodeon’s beloved animated The Fairly OddParents series, which ran from 2001-2017 with 172 episodes, followed the magical adventures of 10-year-old Timmy Turner and his well-meaning Fairy Godparents who grant him wishes. During its run, The Fairly OddParents became one of Nickelodeon’s most beloved properties from both fans and critics alike, having won and been nominated for dozens of awards. The Fairly OddParents was created by Butch Hartman.
Seasons one, two and three of the original series are available to stream on Netflix in most countries, with the full series available to stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.
