Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right. But closure won’t come easy. When Miami Metro’s Angel Batista (David Zayas) arrives with questions, Dexter realizes his past is catching up to him fast. As father and son navigate their own darkness in the city that never sleeps, they soon find themselves deeper than they ever imagined—and that the only way out is together.

ACM and Nickelodeon share values of: encouraging children to play; engaging parents in enabling their child's play; creating access to experiences that improve children's health (mental and physical), wellbeing, agency, resilience, and empathy; and creating a world where all children thrive.

ACM and Nickelodeon look forward to seeing how your museum will encourage and highlight the ways play can build kids’ agency and confidence.
By registering, you will receive information on next steps, gain access to our communications toolkit, and be included in the Day of Play event directory.
Limited Funding Available
ACM and Nickelodeon are pleased to help support ACM and Museums for All members in offsetting the costs of hosting an event.
A $600 stipend is available for Association of Children’s Museums or Museums for All participating organizations that are hosting a Day of Play event on September 27, 2025. Priority will be given to museums with operating budgets under $1 million USD and those serving/located in underserved communities. A limited amount of funding is available on a first-come/first-serve basis.
All organizations receiving funding will need to sign a Letter of Agreement, provide a W-9, and complete a brief post-event survey on the organization’s participation.

Based on the classic 1987 book by acclaimed Israeli children's book author Galila Ron-Feder Amit, To Myself tells the story of Zion Cohen, who grew up with his grandmother in Beit She'an, and finds himself a foster child in the Sharoni family's home in the prestigious Danya neighborhood in Haifa, after his grandmother and the social worker decide that he would have a better future there.
From being the most popular kid in class, fearless, who doesn't respect the teachers and who all his friends listen to, he arrives in another world, at the Sharoni family's home. A place where the street rules by which he lived no longer apply and he is forced to learn to adapt to a new reality, and settle into a new family, a new neighbourhood, and even a new soccer team. An adaptation that doesn't always go smoothly.
Nir, the son of the Sharoni family, is a boy the same age as Zion, but unlike Zion whose world revolves around soccer, Nir's world revolves around piano lessons and studies, which he even enjoys! Maya Sharoni informs him that there is one rule in the house - every day they sit down to write a diary. Initially deterred, he gradually becomes addicted to the ritual, and to the diary. He is just waiting for the evening to arrive, to tell himself everything that is going through his mind. Through writing, Zion's story will be revealed. How his father found himself in prison, about life with Grandma Zehava, and his special relationship with his best friend Roy and Moshiko, the kiosk owner who always knows the right thing to say. Zion is looking for the place where he can feel completely at home. Through the diary, he finds his inner home.
The series was created by Asia Levtov (Shakshouka) and Noa Lazar Keinan (The Policeman's Daughter), directed by Yonatan Bar-Ilan (Rising) and produced by the company July-August Productions.
