NEW YORK—Sept. 26, 2017—Nickelodeon’s just-completed third quarter performance extends its winning streak as basic cable’s top network in total day with all three kids’ demos–Kids 2-11 (2.1/572,000), Kids 6-11 (1.8/304,000) and Kids 2-5(2.6/267,000). This quarter (6/26/17-9/24/17) marks Nick’s ninth straight quarterly win with Kids 2-11 and Kids 2-5 and its fourth straight quarter at number one with Kids 6-11.

Nick holds a double-digit lead over the competition this quarter among Kids 2-11; owns the number-one kids’ shows in the three key kid demos; and scored nine of the top 10 shows for Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and preschoolers.

Nick’s top kids’ shows on all TV include:

Competitively this quarter, Nickelodeon is +62% ahead of Disney Channel with Kids 2-11 (1.3/377,000), +13% with Kids 6-11 (1.6/274,000) and +160% ahead with Kids 2-5 (1.0/104,000) in total day. Nick is also ahead of Cartoon Network by +91% with Kids 2-11 (1.1/301,000), +50% with Kids 6-11 (1.2/207,000) and +189% among Kids 2-5 (0.9/94,000).

For the year to date (12/26/16-9/24/17), Nickelodeon is number one, averaging a 2.2/597,000 with Kids 2-11, a 1.9/311,000 with Kids 6-11 and 2.7/286,000 with Kids 2-5 –double and triple digits ahead of competitors. Nick also owns nine of the top 10 shows among Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11, led by The Thundermans, and six of the top 10 preschool series, led by PAW Patrol.
