Based on the novel Baby Doll by Hollie Overton, GIRL TAKEN follows the story of twin sisters Lily and Abby, whose lives are shattered when Lily is abducted from their quiet rural English town by beloved local teacher Rick Hansen. After years of abuse in captivity, Lily escapes—only to discover that freedom brings its own challenges. The world she longed to return to has moved on without her.
As Abby, Lily and their mother Eve struggle to rebuild their family, they must confront the lasting damage and the terrifying reality that Rick is still out there, determined to control the narrative and evade justice. Raw and emotionally charged, GIRL TAKEN is a gripping exploration of trauma, resilience, sisterhood and the high cost of reclaiming one’s life.
The series will star Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones, Atomic) and Jill Halfpenny (The Cuckoo, After the Flood) as Rick and Eve, while sisters Tallulah (The Forsyte Saga, My Fault: London) and Delphi Evans will take on the roles of Lily and Abby.
Supporting the leading cast will be Vikash Bhai (Limbo, Virdee), Niamh Walsh (Smother, Jamestown), Levi Brown (This Town, Invasion), Victoria Ekanoye (The Turkish Detective, The Royals, Coronation Street), Holly Atkins (MOBLAND, Criminal Justice) and Kiran Krishnakumar (What it Feels Like For a Girl, Everything Now).
Mike Benson and Suzi McIntosh serve as executive producers for Clapperboard, with Mick Pantaleo producing. The series has been adapted for screen by David Turpin (The Ex-Wife, The Cuckoo), Suzanne Cowie (The Serial Killer’s Wife, Good Ship Murder) and Nessah Muthy (The Ex-Wife, Grantchester). Laura Way (The Serial Killer’s Wife, Maxine) and Bindu de Stoppani (Silent Witness, Beyond Paradise) are the directors.
GIRL TAKEN was commissioned for Paramount+. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside of Paramount+ markets.

SpongeBob und seine Freund*innen werden in der Folge „Kamp Grusel“ zum Beispiel von einer mysteriösen Gestalt verfolgt und in „Paddington und der Halloween-Fluch“ geht bei den Theaterproben zur Halloween-Show wirklich alles schief. Lastet etwa ein Fluch auf dem Theater? Der spuktastische Halloween-Marathon wird es zeigen!
Wie turbulent, aufregend und schön der Alltag als multikulturelle Patchwork-Familie im Mehrgenerationenhaus ist, erfahren die Halbgeschwister Lily Pak und Jack Wylde jetzt am eigenen Leib. Zum ersten Mal leben sie unter einem Dach und müssen auch noch gemeinsam im familiengeführten Tierpflege- und Pensionsbetrieb aushelfen. Dabei warten viele neue Erfahrungen auf sie: ungewohnte Familiendynamiken, neue Freunde – und natürlich lustige Streiche. Die Animationsserie „Wylde Pak“ zeigt auf witzige und liebevolle Weise, was Familie bedeutet.

Auch in der zehnten Staffel von „Willkommen bei den Louds“ können sich Zuschauer*innen auf lustiges Chaos und unterhaltsame Geschichten mit der Großfamilie freuen. Lincoln verbringt zusammen mit seinen zehn Schwestern eine aufregende Zeit im Camp Mastodon. Während die älteren als Betreuerinnen arbeiten, sind Lincoln und sein bester Freund Clyde sowie Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa und Lily Camper. Dabei geht’s wie gewohnt drunter und drüber!
Fans von „Die Thundermans: Undercover“ können sich auf den zweiten Teil der zweiten Staffel freuen. Zu Beginn waren die Superhelden-Geschwister auf einige Herausforderungen gestoßen: Chloe besucht nun die Sommerschule – und ausgerechnet ihr Bruder Max ist ihr Lehrer. Außerdem taucht ein neuer Superheld namens Captain Perfect auf, mit dem sich Phoebe verbündet. Gleichzeitig kehrt auch Gideon zurück. Um in die Organisation von Mastermind einzudringen und den Chip-Chucker zu stehlen, täuscht Max vor, böse zu werden. Nun geht die Story weiter!
SharkDog ist Max’ bester Freund, doch halb Hai, halb Hund und mit einem enormen Appetit stellt er dessen Leben gehörig auf den Kopf. Seiner eigenen Kraft nicht bewusst, hinterlässt das ungewöhnliche Haustier oft eine Spur des Chaos und stellt die Freundschaft der beiden so manches Mal auf die Probe. Klar ist aber auch, am Ende des Tages ist SharkDog wie alle guten Halb-Hunde Max’ bester Freund und Max ist auch seiner.
