'The Last Airbender', 'Charlotte’s Web' and 'Nacho Libre' to Leave Netflix in October 2020

Three motion pictures from Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures are set to leave Netflix USA during October 2020.

Leaving on Wednesday, October 7 will be The Last Airbender, the 2010 live-action movie adaptation of Nickelodeon's beloved animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. The film, M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense) is considered one of the worst films of all time, however, it did develop a cult status on the streamer earlier this year.

Leaving on Saturday, October 31, 2020 (Halloween) will be another two Nickelodeon Movies: Charlotte’s Web (2006), starring Julia Roberts, Dakota Fanning, and Steve Buscemi taking time away from being the GOAT to play a rat, Templeton; and Nacho Libre (2006; pictured), about a monk played by Jack Black with dreams of lucha libre glory. It’s from Jared Hess, and it’s similarly offbeat as Hess' Napoleon Dynamite.

Other movies leaving the service in October will be:

Zathura: A Space Adventure is a somewhat forgotten spin-off of the original Jumanji film directed by Iron Man director and The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau. Instead of the jungle, the film features a board game that transports players to outer space.

- Both chapters of the fantasy classic The NeverEnding Story, the 1984 original and the 1990 sequel, are also on their way out. Dustin singing the iconic song in Stranger Things 3 will still be available, however.
