At the moment, it's unclear whether the "character news" is that of a new character being added to the game, or whether a existing character will be getting an upgrade. However, as NASB teased "Back to the lab again", fans are speculating that it could be Jimmy Neutron related.
It's also currently unknown whether any new character will be free or premium.
Shredder is thought to be the last free DLC character for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, with additional DLC fighters being paid-for, as the game's devs have previously mentioned that they'd only be two new characters before others would need to be paid for.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is available for consoles and PCs.
