Avatar: The Last Airbender's Toph is the latest Nickelodeon-verse character to join the roster of the upcoming four-player fighter, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl! Toph is the game's final base-launch character that will be revealed, with the release trailer being released on Monday, October 4.

In this video, Fair Play Labs developer Markus Villalobos walks you through her moveset.

Toph Beifong is one of the supporting characters to Aang in Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender series.

Unlike Avatar Aang and Avatar Korra (two other Avatarverse characters in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl's roster), Toph is a specialized Earthbender. She is completely unable to Airbend, Waterbend or Firebend.

Avatar fans will fondly recognize the young but powerful Toph, as she was a leading member of Avatar: The Last Airbender since its second season - referred to as “Book 2: Earth.” The blind daughter of the Earth Kingdom’s wealthy Beifong family, Toph was trained in the art of Earthbending at a young age by badgermoles, which also helped her learn how to see by feeling the ground beneath her feet. She was soon recruited by Avatar Aang and his friends to help the young hero learn Earthbending, during which she proved to be a valuable ally in the battle against the Fire Nation. She even invented the art of Metalbending in the process. Returning as an old woman in the follow-up series The Legend Of Korra, Toph would help mentor the next Avatar, Korra, who also appears in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Toph proved to be a popular character among the Avatar fanbase due to her rough-and-tumble personality and impressive displays of power throughout the original series.

To really emphasize Toph's specific role as an Earthbender, it's stated that Toph is more of a ground fighter in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Needless to say, Toph is at her worst when she's trying to fight in the air.

Despite being a very short character, her ground strong attacks are quite massive in size. When performing her neutral strong, up strong and down strong attacks while grounded, Toph will summon earth structures from the ground that act as hitboxes. Even Toph's hand movements will strike opponents while she does this.

This Earthbender is also capable of summoning a boulder projectile that becomes more powerful the more it is charged. Toph is even permitted to store the projectile for a later use.

One might think that Toph would have a bad recovery due to her status as an Earthbender, but it's actually exceptionally good as her aerial down special will summon ground beneath her. She'll need to land on normal ground before being able to use this technique again, but this appears to be able to refresh Toph's jump and double jump.

This is all very impressive for a blind 12-year-old girl. But it's also fitting for how Toph is in the show.

Toph’s signature stage in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is Omashu. It’s a large stage with five platforms. Supply carts will occasionally drop into the stage and can wreak havoc. Additionally, the stage even has a cameo from the cabbage merchant.

Being that Toph is the 20th character revealed for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, the game's entire base roster has been revealed. Of course, we do know that there are at least 2 more yet to be revealed fighters that will become available as DLC.

Toph Beifong's moveset:

In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Toph can use the following moves: Light Neutral “Rising Knee”, Light Up “Champion’s Belt”, Light Down “Rock Slide”, Light Neutral Air “Air Slap”, Light Up Air “Aerial Champion’s Belt”, Light Down Air “Headbutt”, Light Dash Attack “Running Push”, Strong Neutral “Crashing Earth Wave”, Strong Up “Clay Warrior”, Strong Down “Wall Slam”, Strong Neutral Air “Front Clap”, Strong Up Air “Spin Kick”, Strong Down Air “Downward Punch”, Strong Dash Attack “Stone Catapult”, Neutral Special “Boulder Hurl”, Up Special “Boulder Surge”, and Down Special “Iron Boot”.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is coming out Oct. 5 to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X! For more on the game, head here: https://nickelodeonallstarbrawl.com/

"Utilizing the earth element for many of her strong attacks, her range is very unique. Being able to mix up opponents with a rock guardian that can pop out of the ground, her move mix-ups are very strong. With strong conversions, her special moves compliment her toolset very well. With two projectiles and a spawning platform, Toph can create immense space. The reveal also showcased the newest stage added from the Avatar universe. Based on one of the capitals in the earth kingdom, Omashu’s high-rise kingdom makes an appearance. Featuring the fast-moving carts of mail throughout the city, players will have to avoid them. The stage is extremely vibrant and features a gigantic scale quite well with many platforms and open areas," notes The Nerd Stash.

"Aang is close range and excels in the air, while Toph's air moves are quite weak and her stronger attacks are long range. Her most interesting move is her down special. On the ground, she performs a front flip that deals damage. While in the air, however, Toph will actually create a platform underneath her. This platform serves her as a tool to reposition during a fight or recover from out of bounds. It's a very interesting mechanic, and one of many cool moves that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is bringing to the table," notes Game Rant. "Alongside her moveset, her stage, Omashu, was also briefly introduced. It's a large five-platform stage and is also dynamic. Supply carts (like the ones Aang and his group rode during the series) will occasionally slide around the stage and hit players. There was also a tease in regards to the cabbage merchant where it was warned that players should not get between him and his cabbages. This could have just been a joke, but it's possible there is some sort of penalty for players that decide to test that out."

"Now Toph has been confirmed as a playable character in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, with Fair Play Labs’ Markus Villalobos showing off the young Earthbender’s moveset to IGN earlier today in a gameplay overview video. This six-minute showcase depicts Toph as a ground-based brawler, making up for her lack of aerial prowess with strong attacks and impressive ranged abilities. Some of her noteworthy moves include her upward-aiming Champion’s Belt (where she hits enemies with the prize belt she won as the Earth Rumble Champion), Rock Slide (which has her slide below opponents to take them out at the knees), and Boulder Hurl (in which she channels her Earthbending powers to fire a large rock at foes). Additionally, she can use her Iron Boot move to place floating rock platforms below her to recover. Her designated stage is Omashu, an Earth Kingdom city with rolling minecarts that can knock back unsuspecting players," notes ScreenRant.
