Nickelodeon UK Unveils 2012 Brand Refresh

Nickelodeon UK and Ireland today (Monday 2nd January 2012) completed their latest brand new channel brand refresh, which features more brand new Nickelodeon channel Idents (Nickelodeon Station Id's), and more brand new Nickelodeon channel bumpers.

As part of Nickelodeon UK's 2012 refresh, all of Nickelodeon UK and Ireland's channel bumpers have been updated and feature the stars of current Nickelodeon shows, such as the cast of the Nickelodeon show "iCarly", SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star from the hit animated Nickelodeon show (NickToon) "SpongeBob SquarePants", the cast of the Nickelodeon series "Supah Ninjas", and the cast of the Nickelodeon sitcom "Victorious". Nickelodeon UK and Ireland's "Now", "Next", "After The Break" and "Now Back To" bumpers have also been updated in Nickelodeon UK's 2012 brand refresh, and mainly feature the stars on the Nickelodeon show they are talking about, and feature a new unnamed voice over artist. Nickelodeon UK have also unveiled brand new Nickelodeon Idents (also known as a Nickelodeon Station Id's). One of Nick UK's brand new Idents features the Nickelodeon logo jumping on to the screen to the tune of a Nickelodeon jingle, and another brand new Nickelodeon UK Ident features SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star from "SpongeBob SquarePants" catching small I's that are in the style of the Nickelodeon logo with their Jellyfishing nets. Another brand new Nick UK ident features Squidward Tentacles from "SpongeBob SquarePants" sticking his head out of a top floor window of a white coloured version of Squidward's Easter Island stone tiki head house which is located to the left of the Nickelodeon logo protesting at SpongeBob SquarePants annoying him by using a loud "reef blower" in front of the Nickelodeon logo.

Nickelodeon UK's latest refresh is from Nickelodeon USA's 2011 Image Campaign, which was created by New York-based creative studio "Trollbäck + Company".

On January 2nd 2012, Nickelodeon (UK & Ireland) started using new style bumpers. They are not the style that Nickelodeon USA uses currently, they are the ones that they used from Summer 2010 till April 2011. All bumpers were updated, for every show. Also every show now has bumpers for 'Next', 'Now', 'After The Break' & 'Now Back To'. They also include a new voice over artist (her name is unannounced). Also updated in the refresh were the Nickelodeon indents. These are the videos with the Nickelodeon logo jumping on to the screen and the Nickelodeon tune would be played.

Nickelodeon UK's brand new "The Fairly OddParents" 'Next', 'After The Break, and 'Now' channel bumpers, featuring the cast of the Nickelodeon original animated show ("NickToon") "The Fairly OddParents!", and also includes a brand new Nickelodeon UK ident that features Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda and Poof singing the famous Nickelodeon 'Nick-Nick-Nick-Nick-N-Nick-Nick Nick' jingle while in a white version of Fairy World, and a brand new Nickelodeon UK ident where Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda turn into the Nickelodeon logo, and the brand new "The Fairly OddParents!" Nickelodeon channel bumpers where Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda and Poof form a band and play rock star guitars:



Nickelodeon UK's brand new "SpongeBob SquarePants" 'Next', 'After The Break, and 'Now' channel bumpers, which feature SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star and Gary The Snail from the original Nickelodeon animated show ("NickToon") "SpongeBob SquarePants", and also includes Nickelodeon's new "SpongeBob SquarePants" idents where SpongeBob SquarePants turns into the Nickelodeon logo, and where SpongeBob Squarepants and Patrick Star are Jellyfishing in front of the Nickelodeon logo, trying to catch Nickelodeon-orange coloured Jellyfish:



Nickelodeon UK's brand new "iCarly" 'Next', 'After The Break, and 'Now' channel bumpers, which feature Miranda Cosgrove (Carly Shay), Jennette McCurdy (Sam Puckett) and Nathan Kress (Freddie Benson) from the cast of the hit Nickelodeon sitcom "iCarly":



Nickelodeon UK's brand new "T.U.F.F. Puppy" 'Next', 'After The Break, and 'Now' channel bumpers, which include Dudley Puppy chasing and catching a green Dog 'CHEW' bone, and Dudley Puppy turning himself into the shape of the Nickelodeon logo:



A second brand new 'Next' Nickelodeon UK channel bumper for the Nickelodeon show "Victorious":



Nickelodeon UK's brand new "The Penguins of Madagascar" 'Next', 'After The Break, and 'Now' channel bumpers, which include one where Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico morph into the shape of the Nickelodeon logo, and one where Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico dance with King Julien XIII before they all turn into the shape of the Nickelodeon 'Nick' logo, and a brand new "The Penguins of Madagascar" Nickelodeon ident which features the cast of "Penguins of Madagascar" standing in action poses:
