YTV October Programming Highlights

* Special programming event Fangtastic runs from October 23 to 31 and includes The Stanley Dynamic, Bella and the Bulldogs and Fairly OddParents Halloween episodes

* Premieres of four new highly anticipated Nickelodeon-produced series Game Shakers, 100 Things to Do Before High School, Pig Goat Banana Cricket and Harvey Beaks

(Toronto ON) YTV celebrates the spookiest night of the year with the annual programming event Fangtastic running from October 23 to 31, featuring freaky flicks like A Monster in Paris, ParaNorman, Hotel Transylvania and Halloween-themed episodes of Game Shakers, The Stanley Dynamic and 100 Things to Do Before High School among others. This monstrous month YTV is also hosting a Thanksgiving movie marathon, premiering brand new shows and releasing new episodes of returning favourites.

YTV's programming can also be found on YTVGo. The new app gives kids and families access to the live YTV network stream along with an extensive offering of on-demand episodes.

YTV New Series Premieres

Game Shakers airs Tuesdays at 7 p.m. ET/PT beginning October 6

Episode: Sky Whale premieres Tuesday, October 6 at 7 p.m. ET/PT

In the one-hour special premiere, Babe and Kenzie's school project tops the gaming charts as an online sensation! Rapper Double G finds out they used his song and comes to collect his share. Despite their differences, the group teams up to create Game Shakers! Cameo appearances from YouTube's pop culture comedians and gaming entertainers include GloZell, Lasercorn and ProJared. Episode: Lost Jacket, Falling Pigeons premieres Tuesday, October 13 at 7 p.m. ET/PT

When Dub gives the girls bonuses for Sky Whale's success, Babe buys herself a fancy new jacket. But she is crushed when she loses it. Meanwhile, a flock of pigeons takes up residence in Game Shakers.

Episode: Dirty Blob premieres Tuesday, October 20 at 7 p.m. ET/PT

After Trip accidentally destroys a copy of the Game Shakers' latest game, the kids must sneak into Dub's recording studio to retrieve the last remaining copy of the game from his tablet.

Halloween Episode: Scared Tripless premieres Sunday, October 25 at 9 a.m.

Double G has scared Triple G every Halloween since he was a baby. This year he asks Babe and Kenzie to help, but they double-cross him telling Trip his elaborate plan. But you can't mess with Dub.

100 Things to Do Before High School airs Thursdays at 7 p.m. ET/PT beginning October 8

Episode: Pilot premieres Thursday, October 8 at 7 p.m. ET/PT

In the special one-hour premiere, the trio set out to conquer each of their biggest fears, and for CJ that means talking to her 8th grade crush. While she plots the perfect scenario for a chance encounter, Crispo must confront his fear of snakes and help Fenwick face his fear of running through the halls with the Pootatuck Bears basketball team. As CJ, Crispo and Fenwick work to move past their phobias, they realize mastering the things on "The List" is always easier with friends by their side. Click here to view the trailer.

Episode: Start a Garage Band Thing! premieres Thursday, October 15 at 7 p.m. ET/PT

CJ, Fen and Crispo start a garage band with hopes of winning top prize at the school's music festival. But when creative differences break up the band, CJ must find a way to reunite the team in time for their big performance.

Episode: Run With the Bears Thing! premieres Thursday, October 22 at 7 p.m. ET/PT

The gang each sets out to conquer their fears, but when CJ is faced with talking to her 8th grade crush, she needs the help of Fenwick & Crispo to cross this item off the list.

Halloween Episode: Have the Best Halloween Ever Thing! premieres Thursday, October 29 at 7 p.m. ET/PT

CJ is determined to fix Principal Hader's Halloween-hate in time to rescue the school's cancelled Halloween festivities, while Crispo and Fenwick deal with costume-related crises.

Pig Goat Banana Cricket airs Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT beginning October 10

Episode: Pig Goat Banana Cricket High Five! premieres Saturday, October 10 at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT

Pig befriends shopping cart. Goat searches for audience to hear her new song. Banana's job is in jeopardy. Cricket's beauty goo almost destroys the world.

Episode: Fudge-pocalypse premieres Saturday, October 17 at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT

Pig's love for fudge bubbles triggers a fudge deluge of doom. Goat uses her ark to save the town from the rising fudge waters. Banana is taken by pirates and must think quick to survive. Alone on a deserted island, Cricket rebuilds his life.

Episode: Super Space Meatball premieres Saturday, October 24 at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT

A space meatball gives the friends superpowers. Goat battles the town villain Lipstick Horse. Pig stops the Time Donut from stealing. Cricket is upset when he doesn't get a super-power. Banana is persuaded to join the villains.

Harvey Beaks airs Saturdays at 10a.m. ET/PT beginning October 10

Episode: Pe-Choo!/The Spitting Tree premieres Saturday, October 10 at 10 a.m. ET/PT

To have an awesome time at the lake, Harvey has to do the one thing that's the hardest for him – get in really big trouble. Spitting from the highest tree in Littlebark is fun until the kids realize they can't get back down.

Episode: The Finger/The Negatives of Being Positively Charged premieres Saturday, October 17 at 10 a.m. ET/PT

The discovery of a giant, stone finger in the ground leads the kids on a passionate quest to find out what's attached to the rest of it. When Fee and Foo become magnetized, nature seems determined to force them apart.

Episode: The Rental Bike/Anti-Valentine's Day premieres Saturday, October 24 at 10 a.m. ET/PT

Harvey and Foo rent a bike from a grumpy shopkeeper and learn the meaning of the phrase "Buyer Beware." Always excluded from Valentine's Day festivities, Fee makes up her own holiday – Anti-Valentine's Day!

Halloween Episode: Le Corn Maze…OF DOOM!/Harvey Isn't Scary premieres Saturday, October 31 at 10 a.m. ET/PT

After the kids claim that last year's Halloween maze wasn't at all scary, the squirrels swear to make this year's maze the scariest ever. Everyone enters the maze but will anyone ever exit? / A Littlebark Halloween tradition involves telling scary stories to keep the boogeyman away, but Harvey can't seem to scare anyone. If he doesn't step up his game, they're all going to be in trouble!

Thanksgiving

Viewers can celebrate turkey day with family favourites on Monday, October 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET/PT including Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Tooth Fairy, Tooth Fairy 2, Nanny McPhee, and Nanny McPhee Returns.

TELETOON Highlights Summary

Scooby-Doo reigns TELETOON this October. Scooby-Doo mayhem begins with a slew of programming starting October 5, then on Thursday, October 8, TELETOON brings viewers the Canadian premiere of the highly anticipated new series, Be Cool Scooby-Doo!, debuting with back-to-back episodes starting at 6 p.m. ET/PT. Halloween comes early with 13 days of terrifyingly-fun movies and specials from Scooby-Doo!, The Smurfs and more. Also premiering this month is new series YO-KAI WATCH.

New Series Premieres

Be Cool Scooby-Doo!

Airs Wednesdays at 6 p.m. ET/PT beginning October 8 with two back-to-back new episodes.

From Warner Bros. Animation, Be Cool Scooby-Doo! is 26 episodes of an all-new 22-minute animated comedy series featuring the Scooby gang, back with a modern comedic twist on the beloved classic. With high school over and one last summer to live it up, the gang hits the road in the Mystery Machine, chasing fun and adventure. But monsters and mayhem keep getting in the way. This time, the gang is working as hard to solve their own personal problems as they are in solving the endless, mind-bending mysteries that await them.

YO-KAI WATCH airs Saturdays at 2 p.m. ET/PT beginning October 10

Remember that time you passed gas in that super crowded elevator? Or when you lost your sock in the dryer? That was just bad luck right? Wrong! That was the work of the Yo-kai – the invisible Yo-kai are all around us causing our daily annoyances! Hero Nate is a 12 year-old boy struggling to fit in at school. But when he discover a YO-KAI WATCH, he gets the power to see and communicate with these mischievous Yo-kai. With YO-KAI WATCH on his wrist, Nate sets out to form his own super awesome posse and get rid of the things that make seventh grade so complicated.
