Frederick Keys To Host 90's Nickelodeon Night On Friday 17th June 2016

90s Nickelodeon Night Returns!

Keys and Hillcats to wear Hey Arnold! Themed Jerseys


Frederick, Md. -The Frederick Keys will be holding their second 90s Nickelodeon Night on Friday, June 17 when the Lynchburg Hillcats come to town. First pitch is slated for 7:00 p.m while gates will open at six. After receiving national recognition for Chucky Finster-themed Rugrats themed uniforms, the Keys will once again be donning special jerseys, as this year's will be inspired by the hit show Hey Arnold! A myriad of fun on-field games are also scheduled for the night.

For uniforms, the Keys jerseys will be inspired by the main character, Arnold. Additionally, the visiting Hillcats will get in on the act with custom uniforms of their own. Lynchburg's jerseys will be inspired by Arnold's best friend, Gerald. Both uniform tops reflect the typical outfits worn by Arnold and Gerald on the show.

There will also be a number of special surprises and Hey Arnold! themed games throughout the night. Nymeo Field will be renamed "Quigley Stadium" the Dugout Dogs stand will be known as "Mickey's All Natural Casings Dog Pound and the Angus Grill will be renamed "Green's Meats for nine innings.

For on-field games, there will be a Sugar Chunks box top rip-off, a Stinky Peterson pudding eating contest and a Jolly Olly man ice cream race. Fans can also identify the hairstyles of their favorite show characters during "who in the hair is that", answer Hey Arnold! trivia and take part in the Helga shrine cam.

Hey Arnold! is one of Nickelodeon's most iconic animated series. The show focuses on the daily life of Arnold-a fourth-grader with a wild imagination, street smarts and a head shaped like a football. Hey Arnold presents a fresh look at life the big city as seen from a kids' point of view. Nickelodeon recently announced it has greenlit a two-part animated Hey Arnold! TV movie, written and executive produced by the series' original creator Craig Bartlett. The TV movie will pick up where the original series ended, resolving unanswered questions and plotlines, including Arnold finally getting answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents. Produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, the two hour-long TV movies will debut in 2017.
