Nickelodeon Expands Consumer Products Programme | For All Fans

Growing portfolio of hit brands is opening up licensor’s consumer products programme.

A growing portfolio of successful brands is opening up Nickelodeon's consumer products programme even further!

Nickelodeon is home to a multitude of new and exciting brands that appeal to millions of children right across the UK. Eight branded channels touch millions of households every single day.

However, Nickelodeon is so much more than its TV channels. It gives UK families great content wherever they want it – on air, online or in market with live shows, events and consumer products.

Nickelodeon’s portfolio includes some of the hottest children’s properties at the moment – PAW Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines and Shimmer and Shine, to name just a few. But one of the most exciting brands has to be the social sensation – JoJo Siwa.

The 14 year old is a singer, dancer, performer and social media sensation – you may recognise her signature hair bow, adorning the heads of tween girls everywhere. Her popularity in the UK rivals that in the US, making it the perfect time to roll out a wide consumer products programme.

JoJo’s popularity will only increase in the coming months, with her appearance in an episodes of Nickelodeon’s hit show School of Rock, taking on the role of co-presenter of Nickelodeon’s kids’ version of Lip Sync Battle (Lip Sync Battle Shorties), as well as starring in the TV movie, Blurt in Easter 2018. And to top it off JoJo recently headlined Nickelodeon’s SLIMEFEST, visiting Blackpool for three days during the October half term!

Look out for the first toys from Flair and apparel hitting shelves this autumn, including the first range of JoJo-branded apparel from Smith & Brooks. The range of tee-shirts, sweaters and leggings feature JoJo and her iconic bows.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtles will be returning in Autumn 2018, with an all new look and all new adventures, in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

It’s been a huge year for PAW Patrol, and the stats say it all: it’s the number one preschool property in NPD and number two toy property overall, second to Star Wars. There’s been a 58% growth in NPD year on year and to top it off, it won Preschool Licence of the Year at The Licensing Awards 2017 for the second year running.

There are two new themes in PAW Patrol season 4: "Mission PAW" and "Sea Patroller", allowing plenty of scope for licensees to expand on an already successful consumer products programme.

PAW Patrol will also be coming back to VUE Cinemas for a whole new experience this October with Big Screen Tails!

Nick Jr.'s hit STEM-themed preschool series Blaze and the Monster Machines also continues to gain popularity. Following on from the huge success of the "Wild Wheels" episodes, the Animal Island toy line will launch at retail this autumn.

Nickelodeon's latest preschool series, Nella the Princess Knight became an instant favourite when the show launched in May 2017, becoming the #1 show on Nick Jr. UK & Ireland for that month. Continuing the shows momentum, Vivid will launch Nella the Princess Knight toys in early 2018, with further consumer product slated to roll-out through 2018.
