NickSplat Launches 'NSFW: Nick Shows Were Freakin' Weird' Digital Series On Facebook

For nearly four decades, Nickelodeon has been a huge part of many childhoods, serving as a platform to watch animated series like the hilarious SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats, The Ren & Stimpy Show, Rocko's Modern Life, The Loud House, Doug and Hey Arnold!. Nick's line-up is always stacked with colorful and energetic comedies, seemingly designed for a younger audience.

Many Nick Kids who grew up in the '90s have fond memories of watching their favorite shows on Nickelodeon, and are now rediscovering their favorite shows thanks to NickSplat.

If you've been re-watching your favorite '90s Nickelodeon shows on NickSplat, you may have come across something mind-blowing: Your favorite shows aren't as innocent as you remember them, and are actually filled with innuendos and grown-up jokes hidden in plain sight that went right over your head when you were young!

Adult jokes being left in on Nickelodeon shows raises a few questions, such as "Did nobody ever notice these before?", "How did this get pass censors?" and "How did the animators manage to get away with so much?", however, thankfully the jokes did get through, as they've given fans a chance to binge-watch every Nickelodeon show ever to uncover any gags which flew over their innocent little minds back in the '90s!
