Meet Om Prakash | Child Labor | #KidsCan | Nickelodeon Together for Good

Meet Om Prakash from Jaipur, India, a 2006 Peace Prize winner focused on child labor issues and one of Nickelodeon and KidsRights Foundation's Together For Good #KidsCan changemakers! Om Prakash has made it his mission to save kids from forced labour in his home town in India. To do that, he started by setting up villages where children's rights are acknowledged and respected. Om also believes that every child has the right to an education, so he's helped more than 500 kids gain access to schools. But Om didn't stop there. He also helped make sure schools in India will always be free and accessible for everyone. Thanks to Om, children in India and around the world are leading better lives. Watch Om's story below:

Om Prakash has also started his own organization Paathshala to support children with fewer opportunities with educational support. He is also a founding member of The KidsRights Youngsters, inspiring children and youth worldwide to become changemakers. Read more about Om Prakash here on kidsrights.org.
