Arcade1Up Announces 'Konami Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Home Arcade Game' Cabinet | E3

COWABUNGA! Arcade1Up today showcased it's upcoming newly announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game cabinet at the 2019 E3 Expo!

Arcade1Up has taken the gaming experience by storm with some of the most popular arcade games from the 70s, 80s and 90s, and will be continuing this trend with their brand-new Konami Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Home Arcade Game, featuring two fan-favorite TMNT arcade titles featuring the Heroes In a Half-Shell: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1989) and Turtles in Time. The Konami cabinet also has the honor be the first Arcade1UP set to include four simultaneous players, just like the arcade originals!

The cabinet matches the original machine decals and uses arcade components, but stands at just under 4ft.

Konami Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Home Arcade Game (sub-licensed by Nickelodeon) extends Arcade1Up's line of replica arcade machines. Each matches the original machine decals and use arcade components, but stand at just under 4ft. Previous games have included single player Space Invaders and Galaga, two-player Final Fight, Street Fighter II and three player Rampage.

The Konami Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Home Arcade Game cabinet is slated to be released at retail in August 2019, and will retail for around $349 (USD).

Each unit comes flat packed and require assembly. The instructions to build the cabinet are clear and each item is in its own labeled bag.

Fans can get hands on with the Konami Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Home Arcade Game machine at Arcade1Up’s E3 booth, which can be found at #623 located in the South Hall.

In addition to the Konami Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Home Arcade Game, Arcade1Up has also announced a Capcom-licensed Marvel Super Heroes machine that will provide three games: Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men Children of the Atom (two favorites released before the popular Versus brand came along), and the side-scrolling action game The Punisher, which allows players to choose between Frank Castle and Nick Fury. Side and cabinet art based on Marvel Superheroes is included.

The Arcade1Up line comes from Tastemakers. In business since 2011, this latest venture is performing well. It won 2019 Tech Toy of the Year and continues to sell out as stock arrives in stores.

“With over 30 years of experience in consumer products, I have never seen such an involved or passionate fan community," said Scott Bachrach, CEO, Tastemakers. "We have watched tens of thousands of fans across our social media platforms request some of these new titles and we are really excited to be turning their hopes for our brand into a reality.”

Arcade1Up continues to solidify its position as a leader for retro gaming. Earlier this year, the company also unveiled new additions to its lineup of game cabinets with Counter-cades and Wall-cades for gamers with less footage to house its original cabinets. Those will also roll out this fall.

Support from fans and success at retail has allowed them to continue to innovate and bring new titles to market.
