Nickelodeon is celebrating the holidays with a new competition series, Top Elf! Across five one-hour episodes, seven kid “Elf-testants” with extraordinary building and design skills compete in festive challenges to become Santa’s ‘Top Elf’ and have their wish lists granted—not for themselves, but for good causes in their hometowns. Top Elf airs Fridays at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon, with the season finale airing Saturday, Dec. 21, at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT).

In Top Elf, Santa (Tommy Snider) and Ms. Jingles (Samantha Turret) invite seven civilian “Elf-testants” to the North Pole to test their skills in a series of holiday-themed challenges, from designing their own life-sized gingerbread clubhouses, to reimagining Santa’s sleigh, to creating giant 3-D holiday cards. And of course, building new toys!

Each “Elf-testant" is paired with one of Santa’s elves who help bring their visions to life. Meet the elves: Chip Snuggles (Rudy Martinez), Nog Shimmerhorn (David Magidoff), Ginger O’Tingleton (Jenna Wright), Merry Sparkleberry (Nataliz Jimenez), Tinsel Turtledove (Ashley August), Zippy Twinkles (Davied Morales) and Stretch McDancerpants (Eric Stretch).

The seven skillful “Elf-testants” competing this season are: Aiko Doyle from New York; Allison Kajikawa from Walnut, Calif.; Briana from Los Angeles; Cameron Fulton from Georgetown, Ky.; Hopper Williamson from Highland Park, Texas; Hud Clark from Oxford, Miss.; and Justice Levenson from Jamaica, N.Y.

At the end of each episode, “Elf-testants” are judged by Santa, Ms. Jingles and a celebrity guest to decide who is on the “nice” or “naughty" list and one step closer to being named Top Elf. Celebrity guest judges helping Santa and Ms. Jingles find the Top Elf are: Frankie Grande, Amirah Kassem, Peyton List, Alex Wassabi and Pete Wentz.

Scott County boy competing in finale of Nickelodeon show

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Scott County boy has made it to the finale of a new Nickelodeon TV Show called "Top Elf."

12-year-old Cameron Fulton was cast in the show where he's competing against 7 other kids.

He says the show is about building and making art, and he's had the chance to show off his woodworking skills.

Cameron tells LEX 18 that he was discovered by a casting agency which came across his Instagram profile.

"A lot of people are like 'I want to be a surgeon' because they make a lot of money. I'm like I want to be a woodworker because it's fun," said Cameron.

During the show he's had to build things like a giant Christmas card and a gingerbread house. On the finale airing on Saturday night, he has to build Santa's sleigh.

"The good thing is these are prototypes, they don't actually have to fly. They're just kind of like design models of what we would design if we were going to change Santa's sleigh," said Cameron.

Cameron's parents said he's been recognized around town.

"When we went to the Scott County basketball game last week, he was recognized a lot and that was a weird experience for us.They're like 'You're the Nickelodeon kid!' It was really neat," said Cameron's Mom Kelly Fulton.

The competition is down to the final three kids, one of them being Cameron, and on Saturday a winner will be crowned.

The winner of the show gets to donate $25,000 to the charity of their choice.
