'Avatar: The Last Airbender' Animators Sneak In Nickelodeon Logo Easter Egg

Eagle-eyed viewers of Avatar: The Last Airbender have noticed a blink-and-you-miss-it Easter Egg featured in an episode of Nickelodeon's beloved animated series!


In episode four of Avatar: The Last Airbender "Book Three: Fire", "Sokka's Master", after the rest of Team Avatar saves a town from destruction by a meteorite, Sokka feels left out as he is the only person in the group unable to bend. He finds a swords master named Piandao to help further his skills as a warrior, forging his own sword out of the meteorite. Sokka gives Toph a remaining piece of the meteorite, calling it "space earth". Happy with the gift, Toph bends the meteoric iron into various shapes between her hands, such as a sphere, a spiral, a star, and a iconic Nickelodeon splat logo!:
