John Simmons Joins 'iCarly' Reboot as Cinematographer

Nick News Brief: John Simmons will serve as a cinematographer on Paramount+'s upcoming iCarly reboot. The two-time Emmy Award-winning cinematographer's credits include Nickelodeon's Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, the Nickelodeon pilot Future Shock, as well as shows including Family Reunion, No Good Nick, Roseanne (reboot), Raven's Home, Dog with a Blog, K.C. Undercover, Pair of Kings, Liv and Maddie, Good Luck Charlie, Jessie and more.


Simmons, who has been shooting photographs since he was 15, is vice president of the American Society of Cinematographers and one of only seven people of color in that organization, and currently has an exhibition at the Jean Deleage Art Gallery at Casa 0101 Theater in Los Angeles titled “Capturing Beauty: The Artwork and Photography of John Simmons.” The exhibit, which is available virtually through June 5, features Simmons explaining each piece and the context in which it was created.

Nickelodeon's beloved comedy series iCarly is being revived for a brand new season for Paramount+! Set to premiere later this year, it'll feature Cosgrove, Trainor and Kress reprising their respective roles, picking up where their lives are now, and introduce new characters.
