Did 'SpongeBob: The Cosmic Shake' Just Throw Shade at 'Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl'?

Since Ludosity and GameMill first announced Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl this summer, the upcoming title has become one of the most anticipated video games of the year, thanks to its roster of of characters from classic and modern day animated Nickelodeon series.

However, one of the aspects of the game that is leaving fans disappointed is that it won't feature any voice acting, not at first, anyway. And it seems that fellow game publisher THQ Nordic has picked up on that fact.

In announcing Purple Lamp's brand new SpongeBob game, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, THQ Nordic, who is distributing the game, included what may be a little dig at Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.

As part of the game's description, THQ Nordic included: "Meet all your favorite characters from the series, voiced by their original actors".

While it may just be a coincidence that THQ Nordic included that detail, with no shade being thrown at all, the timing seems seems spot on.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is released on consoles and PC on October 5. You can find out more about the game here.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is also set to be released on consoles and PC in the near future. You can find out more about the game here.
