'SpongeBob' Fan Answers the Question: 'Is Mayonnaise an Instrument?'

In the fan-favorite SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Band Geeks," SpongeBob's best friend Patrick asks Squidward the iconic question, "Is mayonnaise an instrument?", to which the cranky octopus replies "No, Patrick, mayonnaise is not an instrument." However, a TikTok user has kind of proved Squidward wrong!

In a video, TikTokker @daniel.marcial22 proved that mayonnaise can be used as a musical instrument - however, you need to wire up a bunch of mayonnaise jars to a computer first! Marcial demonstrated by playing a tune from the score of the hit Nickelodeon series in a TikTok video, which has since gone viral:

Whilst its not the mayonnaise itself making the tune, Patrick doesn't really specify whether he meant the jar or dressing, a EDM music producer has also proved that the sauce can also be used to make music!

In addition to his mayonnaise-themed videos, Marcial also demonstrated his real life Magic Conch Shell, another icon from the show!:
