'Middlemost Post' Creator Reveals No Current Plans For Season 3

Nickelodeon will premiere the new Middlemost Post Halloween special "More Scary Stories to Tell Your Cloud" (#212) on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), with the episode serving as the show's second season finale. With season two coming to a close, fans have been wondering whether Parker, Angus and Russell will be returning in a third season of the popular animated series. Unfortunately, the news doesn't too positive at the moment.

Middlemost Post is an animated series that combines quirky characters with hilarious adventures and unwavering friendship. The show follows the adventures of the slightly illogical Parker J. Cloud (Becky Robinson, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts), an exuberant raincloud who lives and works in the Middlemost Post Office with Angus (John DiMaggio, Futurama), a rule-abiding mailman and Russell, their magical pet walrus as they journey together through Mount Middlemost to deliver mail. Created and co-executive produced by John Trabbic III (SpongeBob SquarePants, storyboard director)

The series premiered on Nickelodeon USA on July 9, 2021.

In a Tweet, John Trabbic III, the creator Middlemost Post, confirmed that the show is no longer in production:

Whilst the show not currently being in production is not a confirmation that the show has been canceled, Nickelodeon usually renews an animated series when the previous season is still in production to keep the show's staff onboard. With the show currently out of production, most of staff who worked on the series have most likely moved onto other shows.
