Young actor Sawyer Cole has been announced as the new voice actor of Lincoln Loud in Nickelodeon's hit animated series, The Loud House.
Sawyer's credits include TV series such as Teachers, The Substitute, Kidding, and Doug Unplugs, and the holiday movie David and the Elves.
Sawyer is the eighth voice actor to portray Lincoln Loud, taking over the reigns from Bentley Griffin, who was introduced in January 2022. Bentley took over from Asher Bishop, who was introduced on May 16, 2020. Bishop took over from Tex Hammond, the son of Grey Griffin, who voices Lola Loud on the series, who joined the cast in Summer 2018. Prior to Hammond, Lincoln was voiced by Collin Dean, who joined the cast at the end of season one, Grant Palmer, who voiced the titular character for the majority of season one, and Sean Ryan Fox (Henry Danger, Kid Danger) in the pilot episode. In the special "Really Loud Music," Lincoln's singing voice is provided by Jackson Petty.
It's currently unknown why Bentley left his role, however, it is thought that it's due to his voice changing.
The Loud House debuted on Nickelodeon in May 2016 and centers on 11-year-old Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters as he gives an inside look at what it takes to survive the chaos of a huge family. As one of the longest-running animated series on Nickelodeon with 156 episodes, the property has also been translated into: a comic book series, which continues to roll out new stories; chapter books; a digital album; and a podcast, Listen Out Loud. A spin-off series, The Casagrandes, aired between 2019 and 2022. Currently in its seventh season, the series is executive produced by Michael Rubiner. Kyle Marshall serves as co-executive producer and Ashley Kliment-Baker is art director.
In addition to the animated series, The Loud House has been brought to life in two live-action movies as well as the live-action series, The Really Loud House.
