Get ready for a bumper month ahead as Paramount+ has confirmed what is in store for audiences in May 2025!
Two blockbuster new series are joining the streaming service in May. First up there’s Satanic murder-mystery Hysteria starring Julie Bowen which makes its debut on Friday 16th May 2025. Then it’s the turn of drama Little Disasters starring Diane Kruger and Jo Joyner which drops its full, 6-episode box set on Thursday 22nd May 2025.
For younger viewers, the fifteenth season of Nickelodeon's beloved animated series SpongeBob SquarePants also arrives in May, making its debut on Monday 5th May 2025. This will be followed by PAW Patrol: Aqua Pups from Nick Jr. on Wednesday 7th May 2025. "Aqua Pups" sees the pups from Nick Jr.'s megahit CG-animated series PAW Patrol return to the magical, underwater city of Puplantis.
There’s continuing episodes of several hot new shows including Guy Ritchie’s record-breaking MobLand, plus new episodes of drama series Happy Face, NCIS: Origins, and Teacup.
Paramount will also be adding three huge movies in May, for the family there’s Transformers One on Friday 23rd May 2025, for the horror fans there’s A Quiet Place Part 2 on Wednesday 28th May 2025 and for the high stakes drama lover there’s Gladiator II on Monday 12th May 2025.

The ‘Basic (with ads)’ plan offers fans full access to the ‘Mountain of Entertainment’ on Paramount+ for £4.99 per month in the UK and €5,992 per month in Ireland, enabling streaming on one device at a time, in full HD.
Priced at £10.99 /€11,99 per month, the ‘Premium’ plan delivers an elevated viewing experience, with 4K UHD, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on selected titles. ‘Premium’ plan subscribers are also able to stream on up to four devices concurrently, with the option to download content to watch offline.
The ‘Standard’ plan costs £7.99/ €8,99 per month and offers ongoing access to the entire content offering on Paramount+, for up to two concurrent streams in full HD, with the ability to download and watch on the go.

Meanwhile, Pluto TV, the free streaming service from Paramount, recently added some beloved retro Nickelodeon UK shows, including Sister, Sister, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Moesha! There's also dedicated live channels for classic animated hits such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Garfield & Friends, South Park, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Inspector Gadget, Transformers, and Bob the Builder, as well as Teletubbies and Barney & Friends, plus a Retro Toons channel airing Danger Mouse and Count Duckula, and even channels dedicated to paranormal series, including Most Haunted and Ghost Hunters!
