Who's ready? The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is launching a set of four limited-edition SpongeBob SquarePants stamps this summer!

Available from Friday, August 1, the SpongeBob SquarePants stamps, inspired by Nickelodeon's beloved animated series of the same name, are a part of the USPS' specialty summer offerings.

The stamps have been designed by art director Greg Breeding using artwork provided by Nickelodeon.

Two of the stamps feature SpongeBob's face, the third features SpongeBob and his best friend Patrick Star playing in the sand, and the other fourth SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward Tentacles, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks, Sheldon J. Plankton and Gary the Snail on the sandy ocean floor. The selvage design is adorned with a blue Tiki-style flower pattern. Each stamp is adorned with "USA Forever".

The stamps are Forever Stamps, meaning they are not associated with a price and can be used forever.

SpongeBob SquarePants, created by late marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg, has left an enduring mark on generations of viewers since its debut on July 17, 1999. Known for its unique blend of humor, memorable characters, and universal themes, the show has appealed to audiences of all ages. Its merchandise, ranging from action figures and clothing to video games and lunchboxes, became a staple of the early 2000s, solidifying the show's hit status.

The show's ability to entertain both children and adults has been a defining feature. Younger viewers enjoy the slapstick comedy and vibrant animation, while older audiences appreciate the clever storylines, satirical humor, and cultural references. This dual appeal has contributed to the show's widespread popularity and longevity.

The 16th season of the long-running series debuted on Friday, June 27. The show is available to stream on Paramount+.

In recent years, several SpongeBob spinoffs have been released, including Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years and The Patrick Star Show. Both shows are also available to stream on Paramount+.

Later this year, SpongeBob will be heading back onto the big screen in his fourth theatrical movie, The Search for SquarePants. Slated for release on Friday, December 19, the film will see SpongeBob get entangled with the Flying Dutchman (voiced by Mark Hamill), and will feature guest stars such as Regina Hall, Sherry Cola, Arturo Castro, George Lopez, and rapper Ice Spice, who will also contribute a song to the movie.

Before that, fans can see SpongeBob on the big screen in the short "Order Up," which will play alongside the Smurfs movie from Friday, July 18.

Here's what to know about the SpongeBob stamps, including when and where they'll be available and for how much.
