It’s going to be a busy September 1st for Nickelodeon fans on Netflix in the United States, with multiple shows receiving updates and a new Nickelodeon series set to arrive soon, our friends over at What's on Netflix are reporting.

The Loud House heads to Netflix U.S. for the first time

For the first time in Netflix U.S. history, The Loud House will stream on Netflix. The streamer confirms that “multiple seasons” are on the way, although it’s unclear whether it’ll be a collection of the early seasons or every episode that has been aired on Nickelodeon so far.

The Loud House debuted on Nickelodeon in May 2016 and centers on 11-year-old Lincoln Loud and his ten sisters as he gives an inside look at what it takes to survive the chaos of a huge family.

For Lincoln Loud, surviving life in a house full of sisters means you always have to have a plan! Anyone who’s ever shared four walls and a roof can relate to and laugh at the extreme family dynamics of Lincoln Loud and his sisters.

Ever wonder what it’s like having a big family? Well, in The Loud House, 11-year-old Lincoln Loud gives viewers an inside look at what it takes to survive in the chaos of a huge household, especially as the only boy with 10 sisters - Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lola, Lana, Lily, and Lisa! The trick to surviving is to remain calm, cool, and collected. But most importantly for Lincoln, you’ve got to have a plan. With all the chaos, and craziness, from frog rescue missions and snowstorms to chaotic family trips, one thing is always for sure: there is never a dull moment in the Loud house.

As one of the longest-running animated series on Nickelodeon with 196 episodes, the property also has been translated into a comic book series, which continues to roll out new stories, chapter books, a digital album, and a podcast, Listen Out Loud, along with companion series The Casagrandes and multiple movies. The series is executive produced by Michael Rubiner. Kyle Marshall serves as co-executive producer, and Ashley Kliment-Baker is the art director. The Loud House is currently in its ninth and tenth seasons on Nickelodeon.

The Loud House arriving on Netflix follows the streaming service exclusively premiering The Loud House Movie in 2021 and The Casagrandes Movie in 2024.

The addition to Netflix will not impact the show’s availability on Paramount+ in the U.S.

Multiple Other Nickelodeon Shows Getting Updates

New seasons of iCarly are coming to Netflix

In recent years, Netflix has adjusted its show lineup by removing select seasons and making only one or two seasons available. The idea here, at least from Paramount’s point of view, would be to encourage people to switch to Paramount+ to binge-watch the rest. With new owners over at Paramount, another shift is happening, and it looks like this time, we’re getting new seasons rather than having seasons taken away.

What shows are getting updates then? Let’s run through them:

WoN is also reporting that many of these shows’ licenses have been significantly extended, with some, such as Drake & Josh, now staying on Netflix through at least 2027, and many others now licensed through 2030.
