SINGAPORE, 10 FEBRUARY 2016 - The heroes in a half shell from Nickelodeon's popular CG-animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will venture into space in the fourth season premiering in Asia on Monday, 22 February at 6pm (WIB/TH) and 7pm (HK/MY/PH/SG/TW).
This season, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo cross space, time and dimensions in order to reverse the destruction caused by the Triceraton attack. Fans of the series can expect to see newly reimagined characters and villains, and an ooze of celebrities including David Tennant, Ron Perlman and Michael Dorn.

Episode one sees the Turtles, April and Casey Jones, being rescued from Earth by The Fugitoid, a strange alien, moments before its destruction. David Tennant (Dr. Who) guest stars as The Fugitoid who was once an alien scientist named Dr. Honeycutt, but after his body was destroyed, his brain was saved and placed into the body of a robot. Peter Stormare (Fargo) guest stars as Lord Dregg, an arrogant, insectoid crime lord. When the Turtles incur his wrath, he becomes one of their most dangerous enemies. Michael Dorn (Star Trek) stars as Captain Mozar, the supreme Commander of the Triceraton Fleet. He is a cunning and brutal military commander who answers only to the Triceraton Emperor.

Additional guest stars debuting later in the series include Lance Henriksen (Aliens) as Zog, a scout for the alien Triceraton army; Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy) as Armaggon, a vicious, bounty-hunter robo-shark with a taste for turtle; and Zelda Williams (The Legend of Korra) as fan favourite Mona Lisa, a highly skilled Salamandrian warrior.

Viewers can access exclusive digital shorts on Nickelodeon's website after the on-air premiere of episodes from season four of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These videos centre on the adventures of a real turtle named Archie and his helpful robot buddy, Galileo.

New game apps recently launched and inspired by the show include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Portal Power and TMNT Battle Match. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Portal Power action-packed street fighting game lets users help the Turtles travel through portals and fight evil. Users can play as all four Turtles at once as they punch, kick, power-up and portal their way through outrageous dimensions to stop Shredder and the Kraang from unleashing another diabolical plot.

In the original global TMNT Battle Match app, kids connect matching puzzle tiles to gain points that will grant them special moves and powers in order to battle enemies in outer space. The series' first global mobile app, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run was #1 among all paid apps in the U.S. and in more than 80 territories around the world when it launched in April 2013. These apps may be downloaded from www.nick-asia.com/apps.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is part of Nickelodeon's successful animation slate which also includes SpongeBob SquarePants, Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners and Rabbids Invasion. Since its launch in 2012, Nickelodeon's all-new CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has re-energized these iconic characters of this wildly popular franchise. The series is seen in over 170 countries and territories, and translated in over 50 languages. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles follows four mutant turtles— Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo — trained in the art of ninjutsu by their mutant rat sensei, Master Splinter, who teaches the turtles to battle evil from the New York City sewers. Executive produced by Ciro Nieli and Brandon Auman, the series is created at Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, California.
