Rest in peace, Thomas Petruo (1956 - 2018). You will truly be missed.
Thomas Petruo was the voice actor for Plankton in the German dub of SpongeBob Schwammkopf ever since his first appearance in the season 1 episode "Plankton!". However, on April 13, 2018, Petruo sadly passed away from an illness in Berlin, Germany. Petruo's final episode as Plankton was the season 11 episode "Grandmum's the Word" (locally titled "Oma Plankton") which aired in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on Wednesday 20th June 2018.
