When I first saw this Black Power/Black Lives Matter fist on my Super Hero costume it made me proud and my mommy cried! She said that it was amazing and she wondered if @nickelodeon knew what this would mean for my people to see a young African American boy with dreads all the way down his back every week on TV. with this symbol. When I first put it on I felt some real powerful energy. (DONT LAUGH LOL )when I looked in the mirror lol! Because I was proud of what I saw. I am even prouder today because I feel like @henrydangerforce is a part of something that will change the world! NO CAP! The crew and cast of this show are an amazing family and support system to me right now and Im soooooooo grateful and hopeful for the future of all people!!💕 #blacklivesmatter #nickelodeon #henrydangerforce #strongertogether #menandboywithdreads #peaceandlove #justicenow #happybeingme #blackpower

some thoughts on today: to all those using your platform today or otherwise, you are appreciated. “black out tuesday” is a wonderful way to stand in solidarity with the black lives matter movement, however, keep in mind the work does not stop there! to those with a platform who have posted a black screen today but have otherwise been radiosilent about the extensive racial injustices in this country, i urge you to recognize there are further steps to take. it is damaging to use this day as a way to protect your image, without actually contributing meaningfully to the fight. the purpose of “black out tuesday” is to silence posts that are not promoting the cause, not silence the cause itself. so please continue to amplify black voices, share necessary resources, shed light on updates from the movement, reflect upon recent events, educate yourself or others, etc. 💪🏾 please, donate or protest if you can, but if you can’t, there are many other ways to impact the movement! i will be sharing some of those ways on my story, so feel free to check there, my “BLM” highlight, or this post above. finally, if you tagged your blackout post with the hashtag “#blacklivesmatter”, it would be wise to delete and repost it, switching the tag to “#blackouttuesday”. that is the best way to ensure it won’t be under the BLM hashtag, flooding out important information. 🤎 it’s been incredibly inspiring to see how powerful this movement has become. to everyone fighting, thank you. let’s keep going !!! 🤍

My whole being is in pain. Say it, know it, show it — Black lives matter. Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd. Say their names, their lives matter. The countless lives we’ve mourned, matter. I promise to be a lifelong learner and a committed, even if imperfect, advocate in action. I am an ally, with the aim of becoming an accomplice. Hand in hand, we must collectively bring this injustice to an end. Accept the responsibility, embrace your revelation, and become our revolution. Read. Digest. Discuss. Listen. Learn. Unlearn. Unravel. Understand. Declare. Defend. Donate. Represent. Rally. Vote. Reform. Vote. Register. Vote. Whatever gift God gave you, use it to amplify and act in solidarity. Whether your paint is your power, your story is sung with your soul, or your keyboard is your sword. I love you. I stand with you. I’ll kneel, feel, heal with you. #BlackLivesMatter Make sure they matter to you. There’s a link in my bio if you need guidance too.
